Handy Sweet Dispenser
I was very keen on this product as soon as I first saw it. Like other reviewers I saw the potential for this to be a set that can be used frequently. Whilst other builds have been great ornaments (as a mature adult I no longer lay on the carpet and play with the models) this one can be used as a dispenser for sweets. I put the minifigures to one side and filled the balls with sweets, this way I have the fun of using the model each time I fancy a treat. The build itself was great fun with some very clear instructions and pictures to ensure the dispensing mechanism was set up correctly. I'm pleased to say that mine worked first time, I also like the fact that the "coins" are not mere ornaments, they are actually required to operate the machine. The model looks good, it reminds me of the bubble gum machines from my childhood and is in almost daily use. For me the price is worth it considering that I use this model almost every day.

Really fun building and playing
I built this together with my son. He had amazing fun building the structure. I had to help with the mechanism. He still takes it apart and rebuilds it from time to time. We also had a lot of fun just playing with the finished build.

As Cute As It Looks on the Box
This was everything I expected. The build was fun, the little minifigures in the machine are adorable, the mechanics are fun, and it looks great being displayed. I do wish there were a few more balls for the price just to fill it up more, but other than that I loved it.

Very satisfying - both the process and end result
Adult who's just getting into Lego here, and this was my second build (after the chess set). Pros: It delivers what it promises. Mechanism works very smoothly. No issues with construction. Very fun seeing the stage-by-stage construction and recognizing how machines like this work. Cons: (These are all small quibbles; just letting you know what you're getting. Don't let the length of the list scare you, as this was a phenomenal product.) *The lid of the machine doesn't attach, it just sits on the top. *If the spare coin is sitting in the slot like how it's pictured, the mechanism can't complete a cycle because the coin you're using can't get pushed out of the mechanism properly. *The pieces that make up the balls can't be ordered individually, so you can't get more balls. *A lot of pieces can look remarkably similar in the middle packets, and can be a little difficult to match up to the photos in the instructions.

Gacha!
This set made me smile before I even opened the box. It instantly reminded me of the gashapon machines in Japan—that irresistible combo of mystery, anticipation, and “just one more turn.” I was genuinely excited to build this one, and it did not disappoint. The real magic here is the functionality. This thing doesn’t just look like a vending machine—it acts like one. The knob won’t turn unless a coin is inserted, which is such a delight From a build perspective, it’s engaging and rewarding. LEGO really leaned into the engineering here, and it shows. My one small wish? I would’ve loved the minifigures inside to be more in line with a collectible minifigure series—a little more unique, a little more “exclusive capsule energy.” Overall, this set is playful, interactive, and pure joy. It’s part nostalgia, part toy, part display piece—and 100% a crowd-pleaser. If you like clever LEGO builds that do something, this one is absolutely worth the turn of the knob.

Turn Style Awesomeness
I'm a fan of any Lego set that requires gears and/or function. This is now tied for my favorite with the Pac-Man machine. The fact there were one to two mini figures to build in each bag really put this set above for me. I also made a mini of my daughter and snuck it in as a surprise.

Awesome Lego build!
First of all, I like to say, this is an excellent Lego Product. The instruction manual was easy to follow, all the pieces were in each bag and the final build looks awesome. There were several technics parts for the delivery of the minfig balls, so, you had to pay close attention for those steps. Overall, this was an easy build. The only downside was I wish there were a few more minfig balls for this build. The price was a little high for 1343 pieces, but, it goes well with other vintage builds. This is not for a new builder and so would highly recommend this Lego set!

A beautiful experience
The set is a bit on the expensive side but I really enjoyed this building experience seeing how the mechanism comes together and how it only works with the coin in it . Its a really nice looking set , the collection of minifigures is nice and varied and as a classic space collector seeing the 2 new classic Astronaughts is fantastic. A big thumbs up from me

Amazing item but over priced. Also needs more capsules. Can’t find anywhere to buy extra yet.

Don’t think. Just buy it NOW!
I bought this for my 9 year old daughter who loves claw machines and vending machines. I considered this a bonus set because she can actually play with it after building without fear of breaking it. My daughter has only put together simple 3-in-1 sets before this so I was probably a little overzealous purchasing such an advanced set for her… BUT surprisingly she did 99% of this set by herself! The only part she had trouble with was the little gear part that holds the crank inside. It took her a week to build this so I was happy that she had a “project” she could work on that was a little more challenging. She surprised me and she was so happy with the final product! Such an intricate concept but the instructions were easy to follow. I loved watching her getting excited every time she finished another bag. I also loved that it came with 16 different minifigs and 16 balls to put them in. The only way to turn the knob is with a “coin” but don’t worry if you lose the coin you can always make new ones with a flat circle piece and a curved circle piece together!

I loved making this gumball machine. So clever with the penny and the small figures in the balls.

Very fun build! Unfortunately, it doesn’t work properly if all of the balls are inside the machine. It will only work with 3-4 at a time. Overall, great build

Very fun to build
It took my son 5 hours to build which he thoroughly enjoyed and has had great fun playing with it. Perfect balance of technic and regular bricks and is worth the money. He modified it after completing the build by adding a light.

Fun Grown-Up Lego
Such a fun Lego toy! It is both a really interesting complex build and plain fun to play with after it is built! I’m planning to take mine to my desk at work.

Love it!
I have put together a ton of Legos over the years and this one has the most intricate inner workings of any I have ever done. It functions perfectly.

Really fun - and it works well!
Super fun set 😁 Nice enough display, but is also fun to play with as well 🙂 It really works, has 15 balls with classic Lego minifigures inside that you can build, and it comes with 2 coins! It is also designed so that you can easily take off the red sides if you want to see how it works inside 🙂👍 I wish you could buy extra balls! Only negative is that I wish there was a compartment for the 2 coins so they didn't get lost - but this is not hard to fix - you just build a box or use a chest that you hide inside 🙂

Best set of 2025
This was in my opinion the best set of 2025. The functions and mechanics of the set are fun to build and satisfying to use once built. It looks great and comes with tons of minifigs. My only complaint is I wish it came with another 2 to 4 minifigs. Otherwise, hats off to the designer and LEGO.

Vending machine
The vending machine was a great product. I recommended for everybody although it’s a little advanced.
