winter lifesaver
I actually tend more towards oily skin, but this is a must for winter when I get easily dehydrated. It keeps the moisture in my face and doesn't make me too oily. It actuallys dries down quite well. In summer it would make me a grease pit but it's the perfect winter moisturizer and can double as a baby lotion for eczema.

Helps with baby eczema!
This product has helped my 8 month olds eczema a lot! She still has flares on her cheeks, but it has gotten rid of the spot on her head! It also doesn’t burn or irritate her face! Keeps her facial flares down a bit too! I’m really happy with this product!

I've been using this moisturizer as well as other La Roche Posay products for about 5 years after my dermatologist recommended this brand. The Lipikar Triple Repair cream has been a consistent staple in my routine. I love that it's fragrance free and doesn't cause irritation or clog my pores. I have combination to dry skin but definitely more on the dry side - my skin only appears oily in my t zone after a 12 hr shift. This moisturizer has worked great under makeup even when paired with sunscreen. A little goes a long way. I only use a pea sized amount on my face so the 400 mL bottle easily lasts me a year.

Caution: Caused Burning Sensation
I have always liked the double moisture version, but with the winter and getting extra dry skin I tried out this version. However, each time I used it (it was used alone without other products) it made my skin feel like it was burning and irritated my skin’s barrier. It is very rich and thick and does absorb well, so not sure if I just got a bad batch, but will stick with the double moisture version.

Life Saver For Dry Skin
This lotion is a total lifesaver! I first tried it at my sister's place during Thanksgiving and was immediately hooked. I’ve gone through so many other brands like Aveeno and Lubriderm, but nothing else even comes close to how well this works.

Pills up way too much
This cream is pretty greasy which I actually don’t mind so much in the winter, but it pills up so badly that you can’t even rub it in to try to get some of the greasiness to absorb. I keep stupidly using it on my face because the winter air makes me so dry that I want the grease, but then I end up with tiny white balls of cream in my eye brows and hair line. I’ve been using la Roche posay products for a decade and I thought I had used this in the past and liked it, but either the product has changed or I have because I do not recall ever having a pilling issue with any of their products before. Must be a me problem though because I don’t see many other reviews with this complaint.
