convenient tool with a small learning curve
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received for free from Influenster ColorSonic device ffom L’Oreal Paris in exchange for my honest review. The ColorSonic device is very easy to assemble and feels user-friendly right out of the box. Applying the color is straightforward, but you do need to be careful while using it since the dye can drip if the device is tilted the wrong way. With mindful handling, it works well. Cleaning is simple and quick, which is a big plus after coloring. Overall, a convenient tool with a small learning curve.

Love the concept
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the concept of ease to dye hair at home. Sometimes, it is tough to do it yourself. Putting it together is easy but takes time to figure it out. Liquid comes out pretty good, a little messy. I think it just needs to do a few times to practice. I actually practiced without the dye to learn. Definitely needed to read directions and do. each step thoroughly. It is a little heavy to use and has to hold tight. The brush part does go thru hair nicely. The color was amazing for my hair. The softness after it was also nice.

Loreal Colorsonic Hair Color Device
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was gifted to me by Loreal and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. This device is so cool! The cartridges are easy to install and it makes coloring your hair an absolute breeze because it’s just like you’re brushing it instead of trying to wipe it on evenly. Cleaning was also way easier than I thought it would be. I really hope they add more hues because I could definitely see myself using this all the time when I want to update my hair color.

So easy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was genuinely impressed with the L’Oréal Colorsonic Hair Color Device—it makes at-home hair coloring feel modern, clean, and surprisingly easy. Odor: One of the biggest wins for me was the odor. Unlike traditional box dyes with strong chemical smells, the Colorsonic formula has a much lighter, more tolerable scent. It didn’t linger or feel overwhelming, which made the whole process more comfortable. Cleaning: Cleaning the device was straightforward and hassle-free. The detachable parts rinse clean easily, and there’s no messy mixing bowls or brushes to scrub afterward. It feels far more hygienic than traditional at-home dye kits. Storage: The device is sleek and compact, so storing it is simple. Everything fits neatly together, and it doesn’t take up much space in my bathroom cabinet. I also like that it looks modern and not cluttered or bulky. Hair: My hair turned out evenly colored and soft, not dry or brittle. The device dispenses the product consistently, which really helps avoid patchy spots. It felt gentle on my hair and left it looking smooth and healthy after rinsing. Value: While the upfront cost is higher than a standard box dye, the convenience, reduced mess, and professional-looking results make it worth it—especially if you color your hair regularly. It feels like a smart investment for stress-free at-home coloring. ✨ Overall: This device takes the intimidation out of coloring your hair at home. Clean, easy, and effective—I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a more polished DIY hair color experience.

Cover working area
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel like this was a little time-consuming, and it was also a little messy I love the idea of combing the product into your hair and having even distribution . I feel like a lot of product was wasted in the dripping process as well however the color took well and the results were pretty decent

Super convenient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This actually worked pretty well. I was able to dye my hair without my husbands help lol. It glides through your hair effortlessly (when you detangle your hair before) it comes out at a pretty slow pace which might be why i missed some grays but overall it worked really well. The clean up was a breeze too. I love the cleaning function which despenses water out of the bristles to get excess dye out of the machine.

Makes hair dying so much more simpler than it alre
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using L’Oreal hair dye since I started dying my hair over 10 years ago. Always loved it because it was an affordable at home option, for near salon quality results everytime. As an avid box dye user, was super excited to try the L’Oreal colorsonic device. It was a bit confusing at first to get started, but once I got the hang of it, you get used to it. Did a great job fully covering my roots. For religious reasons, can’t show a picture of my hair, but deff recommend this product for easy and even application.

It is easy to set up and so so effortless to apply the color on my hair. It's like brushing your hair and the product itself dispenses. It is reliable to do a quick root touch up and has all the colors needed. I'm so excited to introduce my family and friends to this as well.

Easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I morally dye my hair the old fashion way. At home. From a box. That way is the easiest for me. This was a little too high tech for me beside it was almost more steps and more expensive than what I normally do for the same result. For someone with no experience dying your hair but wants to try it at home tbh is is the product for you.

Less mess coloring hair device
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I opened the box of my Sonicare color device, I found the instructions, including a QR code that led me to learn how to use it. I believe that for touch-ups, it can be cumbersome to set everything up just for a small refresh. However, for a full head of color, this device simplifies the process, reducing mess and cleanup while allowing you to reach areas of your hair that might be missed with traditional dyeing methods.

Worth a try
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They need to come up with a variety of hair colors. It left a line at my roots. I have dark brown almost black here. It is easy to use and not very messy. I still think I prefer traditional hair color techniques. The color is higher quality with other products in my opinion.

At-Home Hair Coloring, Reinvented
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I heard great things about the L’Oreal Paris Colorsonic Hair Color Device, so was excited to try it for myself. I have fine, black, curly hair. I do not currently have color treated hair, nor do I have gray roots. However, I do notice a random stray gray every now and then, so want to master the art of this tool for when I will really need it for covering grays well. I opted for Black Natural, which appeared to be the closest black shade to my natural color. I first had to charge the device, which I did while working from home. When I was ready to begin coloring, I made sure to first put on a junky t-shirt, my self-purchased black cape and the black gloves that came with this device. I had watched the online tutorial several times already, but was still a little nervous. I read through the instructions on the waterproof sheet one more time and then popped in the color cartridge. I held the device over a tupperware container in the sink, just in case things got messy. Once the color started dispensing and indicator light appeared, I was ready to begin. I first applied the color to my roots and then used the attachment to apply color to the length. I was a little awkward with my hand and device coordination, so that will take some getting used to. But my hair is very thin, so it took no time at all to saturate my entire head. I did find that I used my hands more than anticipated to work the color through. I then clipped up my locks and waited 30 minutes for the color to process. While waiting, I followed the instructions to clean the device and still had plenty of color to save for another couple colorings per the indicator. When the timer went off, rinsed my hair using only the conditioner that was included with the hair color. I styled my hair as I normally would and am quite pleased with the results. My dry hair really soaked up the color, which ended up a great match. My hair feels noticeably softer as well. Overall, this hair color device worked nicely, wasn’t as messy as I thought and was fairly easy to use. Because I have such thin, unruly hair, I can’t justify spending salon money to color my hair. Therefore, the value is worthwhile for someone like me, who will continue coloring my hair at home. However, it will take some practice to master the technique and I am really not sure whether it is easier to color my hair with this device or using a basic hair coloring brush. I think time and practice will tell.

It perfectly covers gray hair.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from L’Oreal Paris and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I received the Colorsonic Hair Color Device from L'Oréal Paris. I loved its elegant, impressive, and beautiful case. Upon opening it, I found all the necessary accessories for coloring my hair, including gloves and clear, easy-to-follow instructions, from the test strand to how to clean it afterward. It's easy with the dye cartridges; you simply insert them, and it's as if you were brushing your hair as it colors. With just the touch of a button, it alerts you when it's ready to use. It smells like regular hair dye. I liked how easy and easy it is to clean. The first thing you do is color the gray hairs completely with the included bristles, leaving them perfectly covered. Then you color the rest of your hair. After rinsing, you add the included conditioner, which provides hold and leaves your hair very soft. I loved the results. It's easy and quick to apply, ammonia-free, and provides 100% gray coverage. It's perfect for touch-ups or for coloring your entire head of hair with just one cartridge, just like going to the salon. Highly recommended.

Super easy to use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair feels amazing after using, the color stayed on pretty well and very little mess made since it comes with a little brush that engages as you apply. Super happy with how it works. I wish it had a small case for storing after and love how it comes with empty water bin to clean after use.

Not a necessity for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very interesting concepts that I felt was just extra work and not really necessary but I understand that some people like the idea of a device to assist with coloring hair at home. I personally just felt like it took extra time not only to color but clean up after as well.

Easy to use and great coverage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical of this product at first. It seemed like more of a hassle than the usual way I dye my hair with box dye which seemed easier. But once I actually figured it out and used it, it’s actually really cool. I had to charge it before using because it doesn’t come fully charged, but it just puts out a small amount of product and easily brushes through your hair to do your roots or you add an attachment to do the lengths of your hair as well. Fully covered everything really well. I like how the hair dye only gets on my hair and not all over my face like when I did it with other hair dye products, so it’s way less messy and also you don’t have to throw away the dye cartridge if you don’t use it all like most hair dyes. If there is some left, you can reuse it for next time, which is really great. The cleanup was super simple as well and the instruction booklet that came with it was very easy to understand.

Not so bad
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love how it works, cover perfectly the gray hairs. Saves you time in the application and cleaning of the machine. My biggest issue was after a few days I try to use the remaining product of a tube and the device was not mixing properly, i lost a lot of products but after a few minutes start mixing again.
