New lid design

I had a Kuhn Rikon pressure cooked bought 25 years ago. It lasted all these years but it was slowly coming apart at the base. This new pot that I purchased is not as good of quality as the original. The metal feels a bit lighter and definitely do not like the lid without the longer handle. I’m disappointed in this pot but I’m going to keep it because I cook a lot and I’ll use it, but not liking the handle at all. And I thought my old pot lid would’ve worked on this new pot but it’s a fraction of an inch off and it doesn’t fit.

LOVE IT!

This is my 2nd pressure cooker from Kuhn Rikon. We wore the other one out, but it lasted over 20 years. This one is even better. Cooks beets quickly. Also love to do beans, polenta, risotto, soup, applesauce, etc.
