Jenny Lind Full Bed, Walnut

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this bed for my son and it looks great as well as being sturdy and well made. It took my husband and I about an hour to put it together. I would highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this bed but when putting it together I think there are improvements that should be made to its construction. There are only two spindles on both the headboard and foot board that are screwed into the top part that hold them in place and the rest are supposed to fit snug in when popped into place- this was not the case. The spindles that are not screwed in made it hard to put the bottom piece on and as a result rattle and do not fit in their hole tightly. This can be fixed by adding wood glue, which was not provided with the bed and not mentioned in the instruction. Additionally when putting together the headboard, the top portion did not fit together snug and when screwing it together it stress fractured and left a noticeable gap. This could be re-engineered by the design team to ensure a tight fit. Additionally, when unpacking the bed, there were pieces that came scratched or had dents and dings to it, though fortunately the damage was to parts that were not outwardly facing. Overall after putting the whole bed together it is sturdy and does not move. The unscrewed spindles do not noticeably rattle unless deliberately touched or moved, but they should be re-engineered as to not rattle at all. This bed frame is reasonably priced and has a moderately easy set up.
