  • A: That's correct, approximate combined weight of 250lbs is recommended, however, this is only an estimate, more weight can be tolerated, however, lateral load will cause foam to compress more and won't be comfortable.

SIZE MATTERS

When someone buys a full size mattress for a full size frame, you expect it to fit. This mattress or the manufacturer did not get the memo and it is about 2" too wide to fit into the bed frame. If you have a platform bed or no rails, this could work fine but be careful if it needs to fit into rails/slats. As is, this will be several inches above the flats if we have to "lay" it on top of the rails because it will not squeeze in-between the rails like it should. Making it fit on one side makes it lop-sided on the other - its literally not usable and of course returning this will be a nightmare. Purchase at your own risk.

Fourth mattress on this platform

-Futon mattress in 1983 -Innerspring in 1992 -2nd Innerspring in 2019 -Foam by Best Choice in 2025 Frankly, I was nervous about an all foam mattress. I need not have worried. I have spent 42 years-on this platform that I built in 1983, of oak. Four mattress systems total-remember Futons? My platform has 12 drawers, and I never have to vacuum under it...the sides come right down to the floor. The first innerspring I bought in 1992 carried me through to 2019, 27 years! The 2nd innerspring was a disappointment. After 2 weeks, I am confident that this new foam King sized mattress, 12" deep, will go the distance, I am 76 now. When I unpacked it, the self-inflation process took less than an hour, probably so rapid because the foam was at room temperature, about 70 F. My mattress top height is...36 inches off the floor. Hard as a rock

If you like sleeping on a super hard mattress, this is great! I thought I was purchasing a medium firm mattress, so I'm not super thrilled with my purchase. It is, however, a nice 12 in mattress with no smell, which I like. I had to add 4 in thick foam topper to make it somewhat passable, so now my bed is super high. Hoping it softens up a bit.

Not worth it

Not sure how the bed received so many reviews claiming it to be the most comfortable bed. It’s the worst mattress I have ever bought. It’s very firm and if you lay close to the edge of the bed, it starts sinking in and you slowly start rolling off the bed.

Horrible customer service

I hadn’t even opened the box, sent it back to return and the return was denied. I would have kept it and sold it had I known it wouldn’t have been accepted. No further details on why it was denied. Will not be purchasing large items from Target again!
