Instant Pot 5.3qt Air Fryer with Odor Erase + Clearcook

Works great but tray doesn't stay level. No matter how I place it or how far in I press it, once the air gets circulating it pops up and tilts to one side. I haven't been able to find a solution for this. I really don't want to have to return this, but I might exchange and see if the problem persists in another one. One big problem with this is that when you pour your food out, a hot tray falls out as well.

I have used this machine to cook frozen fries for my nephews, cook and reheat meals and leftovers, and to quickly melt cheese on sandwiches. This is much more versatile than I had imagined an air fryer would be. The best thing about it is the window and light that allows you to see the food while it's cooking, especially for a newbie who is just learning how to use an air fryer. I don't always have the right times or temps at first, but I have never burnt anything because I can see how it's coming along. I have had success cooking foods with the machine, but I am loving how effective it is at reheating food for one; from yesterday's takeout to frozen meatballs I had baked in the air fryer. Having that crispy finish is such an improvement over reheating everything in the microwave! Instant Pot sent me this free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program.

I've cooked a few dishes in it over the first week of owning in and was not disappointed at all. I've made frozen hot dogs in minutes, same with pizza rolls. My latest meal was a 2.5 lb Cornish Hen in about 35 minutes. If I would have thought about it I would have added potatoes since there was still extra space.

Worked great at fist then just started giving error signs and basically became unusable which is sad bc when it worked it worked well- off to find a replacement after only a few months

It balances capacity, performance, and usability really well. The odor-reducing filter is a surprisingly meaningful feature, and I love being able to peek inside as things cook. It's not perfect — there are some reports of a chemical smell early on and preheating isn't the fastest — but in my (hypothetical) experience, the benefits strongly outweigh the downsides.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this air fryer! The first thing I tried in it was a bag of frozen crinkle fries for my five year old daughter. They came out surprisingly perfect. Crispy edges, soft inside, and she loved them enough to ask for them again the next day. The air fryer is really easy to use. You just put the food in, choose your settings, and let it go. One of my favorite parts is the glass window on the front. I didn't think it would matter much but being able to see the food while it's cooking is actually super helpful. I can watch the fries brown without having to pull the basket out a dozen times. The Truffle color looks clean and modern on the counter and the whole thing is very easy to clean afterward. The basket and tray wipe out with almost no effort. Overall I'm really happy with it. It cooks well, looks good, and makes quick snacks even easier.

With that said, this airfryer is NOT loud like previous I've had before, there is no harsh smell either. So far I have made porkchops, frozen orange chicken, sausage and chicken tenders(frozen and raw) using the air fryer option and it comes out perfectly crispy. Its pretty straight forward when it comes to using the settings and I appreciate how it quickly preheats as well as the size of the basket. I can see myself using this a bit more than my oven for quick meals as its VERY easy to clean and cooks my food quick and efficiently. 10/10 would recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I was pleased with this air fryer. It cooks very quickly, has ample space, and has a very quiet operation. I also appreciate the easy to clean non stick interior. If I had to critique, I did not appreciate how close the handle (when pulling out the basket) is to the extremely hot surface. Also, once cooking is done, the machine continues to beep until the door is replaced (with no option to shut off) which is inconvenient for when you need to wash before re installing.

I like that there is a "tray" that elevates the food as it is cooking, but originally I thought it was for the ability to have 2 layers of food, which would be nicer! The instructions are a bit lacking, they mostly want you to watch the videos to see how to use it. I love that there is a viewing window and that it is digital.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this air fryer as a sample and have been trying it out with different settings. I so far I'm very pleased with the air fryer function. I made vegetables and fries and they both turned out really really great. I tried to do the dehydrating function but was unprepared for the amount of time it would take so that's a work in progress. I have not been able to try the baking function yet although it's still intend to attempt that. The only thing that would stop me on that is it is a small appliance so I'm not sure how to go about making a full cake, cookies,things of that nature. Overall I am very pleased and intend to continue using it and experimenting with new dishes daily! I also want to note the compact design is great for smaller kitchens like mine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Full disclosure, I've never owned an air fryer ever. I'm more of a microwave kinda guy and was always on the fence on whether to buy one or not. I'm glad I got to sample and review this through the company. I took it out of the box, read the instructions and right off the bat, I definitely smelled plastic. Washed it, as was instructed, but the smell lingered. Hopefully, it'll go away after a few uses. I decided to air fry some popcorn chicken for 9 minutes. Definitely liked the light on the model so I was able to see my food cook. The settings and time was very straight forward, I also liked that in the middle of the cook, theres an indicator to flip your food. After the 9 minutes have elapsed, I dumped my chicken on the plate and you can hear how crispy they were! Delicious too! Would never get that from a microwave. It's part of my arsenal now! I also like that it doesn't take up too much space on my countertop and when not in use, I can easily just store it away. So, yeah, if I can cook something up in half the time than an oven with the same results, I'm all for it! Yes, I would totally recommend this air fryer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I appreciate that the product includes an odor blocking filter. However, this feature did not seem to work effectively until after multiple uses. The air fryer has a nice design and I particularly enjoy the color. It is easy to clean and store. When air frying, I had to cook the food twice (following the instructions each time) before achieving a crispy result. For baked items, like apple crisp, the food remained soggy after the cooking cycle.

I love how compact it is as it does the job without taking too much space in my kitchen. The instructions are super easy to follow and understand. I have made meals with it from chicken to fish. I'm going to be baking with it this week. It has done every task with ease and I'm impressed. Definitely will be getting more kitchen appliances from the Instant Pot brand!
