I still remember how easy it was from when I had one for my daughter. They've improved the compatibility and ease of opening and closing which was already easy but it was super easy for this one. The cover is a nice added touch too.

Good luck cleaning it!
Hot take, but "wipe clean with a damp cloth" should automatically disqualify anything from being considered a baby product. The mattress pad cover could be made removeable, but for inexplicable reasons is not. So, if your baby happens to ever have a diaper incident, good luck kjnowing the best you could do to clean it off was wiping it down. But hey, babies never get poop in inconvenient places, right? Other than that it's a fine crib. Mattress definitely bows if it's not strapped down which adds an extra later of complexity to collapsing and moving it, but is fine otherwise. i'm just stunned that there's no good cleaning solution
