The Dyson WashG1™ wet cleaner is dedicated to making hard floor cleaning easier, and cleaner. Powerful, highly absorbent microfiber rollers remove wet and dry dirt, and even tough stains. Disappointed as we love the vacuums
The Dyson wash G1 does not perform as advertised. Unimpressed from the first use and stopped working on the second use. We are trying to return to the “approved” retailer and they tell us we need to go through Dyson and Dyson tells us we have to go through the retailer. (I believe the retailer is responsible but they have not responded)

Easy use and functional.
I bought this unit a few wks ago. Quick delivery. Cant say the instructions were the greatest but I just googled it. So far I’m loving this machine. If you have a bigger home the tanks may not be big enough. But good size my home they are perfect. It cleans the floor quite well. As I have a white Lino flooring at the moment which will be changed soon. So ya I would rate it a 9 out of 10 so far.

So easy to clean!
So easy to guide around. So much cleaner and easier than using a mop or scrubbing. Love that I don’t have to pre-vacuum. Only downside is that the debris tray falls off occasionally.

It finds dirt I couldn't have found any other way!
It finds dirt in places we thought were clean! It is effortless and easy to store. I worry a bit about having to change the rollers - but hey-ho - for such a wonderful machine, that is a 'price' worth paying.

Not for me
Unfortunately I’ve had to return this as I was expecting it to blow me away, like my other Dyson products, but it just wasn’t suitable for my flooring type. I have friends that have this and love it. But it just wasn’t as agitating as I need it to be. For a quick clean I’m sure it’s great but for the money I wanted more.

It's decent
It's good cuz I don't have to put my back into it like with a regular mop but it doesn't beat a regular mop in terms of the scrubbing action. If there is something stuck on the floor, it won't scrub it. E.g dried glue from the skirting board. Also it doesn't get into the inner corners of the edges of a wall. It says edge cleaner but maybe I'm not using it properly. It doesn't heat the water or anything lol. It's a cold wash. Which makes me think the bacteria didn't die. I did use the probiotic hard floor cleaning solution though. Overall it's decent, it does make life a bit easier.

Cleans the floor beautifully
Received as a gift. Found the fact that there is no manual with it and that i have to go on line each time I need to know something a real pain. It cleans the flor beautifully and leaves a lovely shine. It is complicated to use and heavy. Not something you get out quickly to give rthe floor a quick clean as it takes too long to set up. I found getting the bits tray out difficult as did my daughter

Goes concept and the floor is a little cleaner, but it’s a pain to clean. Water replacement is easy enough but you have to make a mess to clean it. I wouldn’t buy it again knowing what I know.

Highly recommend!
I bought the Dyson WashG1 because my house is entirely made up of hardwood and tiles and cleaning it manually takes too much time and effort. It arrived quickly, was easy to set up and I used it immediately. Since then, I've used it continually over the holidays and am delighted to say it is effortless to use and produces great results. It cleans my floors so well without leaving excessive water on the floors, in fact it dries very quickly. I have a pet and it picks up fur well. I use it on my stairs and it is able to reach into corners and under furniture. The design is perfect as the unit is very efficient, easy to use and is so precise. It doesn't weigh much and can be moved around easily without using much space for storage. The technology is advanced but not difficult to understand. I also love the self cleaning function. This product makes it so much easier to clean my floors than using a mop. I do clean them more often because it is so easy and my floors are in better shape because of the Dyson. I highly recommend this product.

Ease of use

Great mop- makes mopping a breeze
I have had the G1 for a few months now and love it. It saves my back and makes mopping a large area a breeze. It takes a bit to get used to it and learn how to empty the tray (stiff to start) but the self cleaning function is awesome. Lots of control for the water amount for cleaning and clear display. It can leave mop marks but think that’s my tiles and have worked out how to minimise this. Would love a solution to add for fragrance and or extra clean.
