Best smelling Downy ever!
They discontinued my favorite clean breeze scent so I tried several others before coming across the ocean mist scent. And to my surprise...it's probably the best fabric softener scent I've ever smelled!! Good job downy!!! Please don't ever discontinue this one or I will be devastated!

Downy for the win!
I’m a tried and true when it comes to Downy. This is the only brand I will use for fabric softeners. My favorite for the longest has been the CALM Lavender and Vanilla scent. This gentle formula of Ocean Mist is now my new favorite! It’s gentle enough for my child’s skin and the quality is still as amazing!

I ordered this to try a new scent, and it is HANDS DOWN the best one ever. It works perfectly, leaving a light, fresh fragrance that lingers without being overpowering. Worked well on my wool sweaters, they got even softer than they were before.

This is the worst Downy product I have ever purchased. Even using a very tiny amount of the softener, it leaves a film on the clothes. It also really caused residue in the dispenser on my washing machine. It just took me 30 minutes to clean it, after only using this product in 3 loads of laundry! It is a complete waste of money and I will be disposing it, rather than using. Very sad in today's economy. This product is not GENTLE as advertised! Not even worthy of one star, however can't submit without a rating.

We're disappointed to hear this. Due to the rigorous quality tests that Downy products have undergone, this isn't the experience we expect. Typically this can occur if the detergent has combined with the fabric softener. To prevent this, make sure the fabric softener is dosed in the fabric softener compartment of the dispensing drawer. I was highly unhappy with the fact that when this item arrived, about half of the liquid in the bottle had leaked out into the bag and all over the place as the bag did not contain the liquid. I have included pictures of the bag opened with most of the liquid drained out of it below.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely LOVE this scent! This fragrance line I’d consider light/gentle not harsh. It’s left my clothes extremely soft and more comfortable on my skin. The packaging is similar to any other fabric softener container. Ocean Mist is the only fragrance my family and I use since it doesn’t irritate our skin. If you use and love Downy and want a fabric softener that smells amazing; this is what you should grab. It good for up to 83 medium loads so it’s worth the cost. I’ll definitely be purchasing more once this runs out.

Definitely does what it says on the tin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The scent of this was really pleasant but did not linger as long as I hoped. That was the only downside I could see. This product noticeably softened the fibers of the fabric I washed with it and helped to unshrink a sweater by softening it as well. I would just be careful how often I use it so I don’t degrade the fabric overtime.
