I’m done with Downy. I’m still furious about the Cashmere Glow being discontinued…and I’m not alone. I finally fell for the Shea Light and poof that’s gone now too. Lifetime user opinions do not mean squat.

Because we have strict quality controls and it’s unusual for a package to leave our plant with less than the proper amount of product in it, this isn’t expected. It might help to know that all of our Downy Fabric Softeners are filled by weight, not volume. Each bottle holds, at minimum, the ounces stated on the label. The bottle may not appear to be full, as space is left to allow for neat pouring. Without some “air space” at the top, pouring the liquid would be very messy, likely causing spilling over the pour spout. I’ve used this fabric softener for the last 5 years. I’ve tried a few different ones here and there but always come back to this one. I absolutely LOVE the smell and how it leaves my clothes feeling soft. It does not leave a bad film in my washer and has never left any stains on my clothes like some fabric softeners do. I have yet to find another fabric softener that I love as much as this one

Smells Amazing, but the bottle was only 75% full
The scent is refreshing and delightful. However, when I picked up the softener from Target, the bottle was only 75% full, and that is a high estimate. The customer service representative said I could switch it out for another, but when I went to the softener section ALL the bottles were the same amount. This is unacceptable knowing how expensive product costs have increased. Target please do better to your hard-working and loyal customers.
