Poor Re-Design, Going Back to the Old Model
I have the 10 cup zero water pitcher and have loved it but wanted to upgrade to this since it now filters forever chemicals. I am returning it however because of poor design. To fill this up, you have to fill up the top container with water multiple times. So that means waiting for it to go down, then refilling, 3 times. With the older version, i could fill up once and it was enough. They removed one of the best parts of the older model, which was the extra spout at the bottom. They replaced it with the water monitor that stays on. You cant remove it. I want to be able to check what the water I put in it is reading at to compare, cant do that anymore. The shape is awful compared to the older model. Water gets stuck in the top compartment and in the holes created by the filter and when you tip the pitcher to pour water into a cup, the non filtered water seeps in. The slider on top is not that interesting to me either. It slides open when you tip over the pitcher to pour out water so you have to make sure the lid is always facing the other way. There is also no slope to the pitcher's shape so to pour out the last of the water into a cup, you have to basically tip the pitcher upside down. Overall, it is so poorly re-designed I am shocked that they didn't do more customer review tests or something. The water also tastes slightly different than my older model. Not bad, just different. Like there was a slight aftertaste.

Possible issue for some people.
It is so heavy I can’t pick it up. The filter is huge. I will say that the water is delicious but I can’t take it out of the refrigerator because if it’s weight.

Difficult to place/remove, leakage around filter
I received my pitcher a few days ago. The filters was not as easy to install as the instructions led. It is hard to place with out leakage and once it is turned to lock in place it is difficult to remove. It does pour better than the old zero filter pitcher. Will continue to try it and see if there is a learning curve for easy insert and removal of the filters.

fishy smell
had this for less than 2 months and smells like rotten fish. was not aware or the smell until it was too late. had poured the *filtered* water (fishy smell) into my portable ice machine. now ice machine smells like fish. poured all the water out of pitcher and without any water the smell of fish was so powerful. never had an issue over 5 years with my pur pitcher. wanted to try something different and I made a costly mistake. will have to take the ice machine to the recycling plant now.

Save Coffee Maker
I bought this to replace the older version Zero Water pitcher. Main use is to filter water for the Keurig Coffee maker. Works fine. My issue is the meter located under the handle. Very difficult to see, however it does light up when the levels get exceeded.

Great taste at first, but doesn’t last
Water tastes great at the beginning, but after about a month the filter starts giving the water a charcoal or smoky taste. The TDS meter shows 1, and even boiling the water for tea doesn’t remove the strange flavor. It’s really unpleasant. If I have to replace the filter every month just to avoid that taste, it becomes way too expensive and not really worth it. I expected the big filter to last longer and keep the water tasting fresh for more than a few weeks.

From 423 ppm to 0!!
The tap water in our area was very bad. It started out reading at 423 ppm. After filtering it went to 0! Before we used to use a Brita filter and we tested it as well and found it only went down to 383. Not good!! I am so happy we purchased this product!

Great water pitcher filter!
I have been using the culligan zero water pitcher filter for 5 months and I think it’s a great filter! The water tastes great, it really filters out so much more than most other filters on the market. I love the size and shape of the 10 cup pitcher, it fits perfectly in my fridge without taking up a lot of space. It’s easy to refill, it doesn’t take long for the water to filter through. We have hard water with a high tds, so I do have to change the filter about every 12 days, but it’s definitely worth having clean, healthy water. I highly recommend this product!

Complete redesign with sleek new shape, much needed functional quick pour spout, test meter now stays attached and reads right from pitcher, new and improved filter and is not interchangeable with old version pitchers, I had a little difficulty putting new filter in which is no longer a screw type
