Q: There's plastic inside the kettle on the pour spout and strainer. I removed the strainer, but can't get the plastic pour spout off. Is this removable?

The clear material on the water level indicator is made of TPX Polymethylpentene the characteristics are similar to those of traditional polyolefins TPX features superb clarity, transparency, gas permeability, heat and chemical resistance and release qualities. Poorly designed spout
the spout is poorly designed. The spout turns into a sprinkler can when dispensing the last portion of the contents. I tried pouring more slowly to no avail. This is particularly disappointing because the product description highlighted superior spout flow performance. I returned the product because of this critical failure. I gave 2 stars because the temperature control worked.

Happy Camper!
We had received our first select Temp hot pot from a client of ours. It has been in daily use for over 10+ years. The other day as I was making our morning coffee it gave up the ghost and refused to bring the water up the temperature. We immediately got online and ordered a new one. It is a wonderful appliance and we have been so happy with its performance. The new one arrived within two days and we were back in business. Thank you for creating such a great product.

My wife likes less than boiling water for her green tea. I like boiling hot water for my coffee and cream. The ability to set the water temperature has made us both happy. We use this kettle at least four times every day.

So Good We Bought It Again
We are now spending several months in Florida and found we needed a tea kettle. The decision was made quickly. We like what we have up north, so buy another for Florida. The kettle heats water to several different temperatures. This makes it possible to have the right temperature for the tea one is brewing. Very Happy with our purchase.

Electric Kettle
My old (expensive, name brand) stove top kettle was rusting on the inside. I figured now was the time to try and switch to an electric kettle. I wish I had done this years ago! It is so fast, the variety of temp settings are amazing and no more rusting!
