Cuisinart Grind and Brew 12 Cup Coffee Maker

I'm still getting used to a pot again from using an Aeropress. We got tired of making 1 cup at a time and had lots of family over for the holidays so we needed a big coffee maker. I like the grinder option but it's really loud (expected) and it seems to go through more beans than necessary. Again, still getting used to it. My only real complaint is that the carafe leaks when you pour. When it's completely full, it doesn't matter how slow you pour, a few ounces end up all over the counter. When it only has 5 or 6 cups in the carafe and you pour super slow it doesnt leak. Very frustrating. Still trying to decide if it's enough of a frustration to return it.

It is like my previous Cuisinart. It is bigger so takes up counter space and I thought it would be quieter. The water hole is in the back, so inconvenient to fill if storing under a cupboard. Not many options for a grind and brew so it will do,

this coffee maker freshly grinds coffee before brewing my morning cup of coffee. I do not need to clean the coffee grinder and i can just leave the beans in the grinder. beautiful!

Awesome coffee machine with built in grinder. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 due to a bad design on the carafe. It's a dribble pot as the plastic is not sealed to the glass part of the carafe. You have to pour your cup over the sink otherwise you have a mess to clean. Cusinart did send us a new carafe after we reported the problem, but the new one does the same thing. Dribble, heavily.

I love the coffeemaker. It makes excellent coffee, with a variety of control settings. I am having difficulty with spillage every time I fill the coffeemaker with water, or fill coffee cups.

Makes very good coffee, but has some quirks. Tends to grind too many beans for the number of cups selected. I set it for 4 cups, and add water to the 8 cup mark. Also works best with the gold tone filter. You can’t change the grind size in this machine

This was a replacement for a much older grind and brew that would no longer grind. New doesn’t always mean better. This machine is so much of a down grade from the leaky carafe to the grinder not making small grind ( large grind and bitter) also not grinding enough coffee bean to match the strength setting. As an example I have to pre grind a4 cup stop the machine from brewing and then grind a 12 cup on the strong strength setting. sucks that I can’t get a cup of coffee the strength I want from this over priced thing

We love this coffee pot/grinder it's our 2nd one. Sadly they have stopped making this version.

This is a great coffeemaker. The only issue I have is that it tends to leave coffee grounds in the coffee. Rather annoying.

Once past a bit of confusion on my part, use of the Grind and view is easy, and I’m not a barista.

I love just about everything with this coffeemaker. It brews beautifully and our coffee is so rich and yummy every time. The one caveat is that it’s difficult to make just one cup of coffee. We have to put the grind on “4”, which is the lowest setting. That grinds an enormous amount of beans for just a single cup. Other than that, this is wonderful product!

We’ve always bought Cuisinart products in the past with no problems believing they are the best of quality but this one changed our mind. Out of the box the pot leaks terribly u have to hold it over a sink to pour it then it waste 1/2 the coffee. Would not buy again.

We had a Cuisinart but it was not a burr grinder. This is a great improvement!

This combined burr grinder and brewer is a wonderful one-step device for me as a user and consumer. While it does not allow me to select the grind size, the manual points out that grind size should be set for the type of brewing. And it is also does not allow me to fine-tune the amount of beans to be pulled down for each batch. But I simple spoon the amount of beans to be brewed each night and set it for “strong” and slightly more cups (6) than I actually have (4 1/2). In my case I like to use a 1/3 normal beans and 2/3 decaffeinated. I put into the hopper two overflowing scoops of decaf and one such of regular coffee. The hopper empties fully (with seemingly the same amount of grounds as if I fill the hopper, given my settings). It produces a robust coffee with similar quality that I get when I use highest-end coffee shops in airports around the world. It has become a great experience every morning for me.

Does not keep coffee warm for more than 30 minutes had i known that I would never have purchased it

Cuisinart is a brand I trust. I've had several of their coffee machines over the years and I've never been disappointed. This machine is no exception. The grinder works great and the coffee comes out perfectly! I know you will love it, too!

I had the previous version of this coffee maker. It was the longest lasting coffee maker that I have owned. So when it developed a leak, I purchased this model. So far, this coffee maker performs just as well as the previous version. It is also easier to set up and the grinder is less noisy.

I have had the blade grinder Cuisinart coffee maker for many years but when it died, I didn’t want to replace it since it required a lot of cleaning after every use. This machine not only grinds the coffee better (burr grinder), it also requires less work to operate. All said, it’s a better machine and is worth the extra cost.

We replaced a different brand, and this is much easier to clean and maintain. Can make from 2-12 cups, and the grinder works great.
