Nice color for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I almost didn't find the included gloves but continued on my color journey. I found this product to be really, really "drippy". The color worked out well, but the amount of the dye that dropped off was a bit much for my liking. I don't like all my stuff dripped on. I also found that it really dried my ends out like super bad. Good coloration, however the other named aspects were kind of a turn off for me.

It left cool tones and I did not feel like I needed to tone my hair afyer use. My hair feels soft and healthy after use.

Smelled so good!

This ammonia free formula was the first time it didn’t make my restroom smell terrible. The primer, first step, gives me hope it will last and the conditioner/bonding was a sizable tube so should last a while. My hair feels squeaky clean and soft and the colorant smelled really good. I was shocked at it not having a terrible fragrance.

Hair color that actually strengthens!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was happy to try Clairol’s colorstrong formula in light ash blonde. I took out the contents of the kit and I was impressed my the heavy duty gloves. It’s pretty easy to mix the hair color, according to pretty standard directions. Start at the root of your hair, let it set for around ten minutes and then pull color though. An old college roommate convinced me that the color works better if you wrap all your hair, with color mixture, atop your head and in a plastic bag. Out of habit, that’s what I do. I usually like to use two boxes of color because my hair is fairly long and I feel like that would have brought me even better results. Still, I found this color to be easy to use, not very strongly scented, the gloves and the enclosed conditioner felt premium. In the end, nothing matters more than RESULTS and that’s where this product truly delivers. I found the hair color covers all my grays and the sun catches each strand beautifully.

Lovely shade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially I was reluctant to use this sunset Mauve colour as I thought it would turn my hair red. After some time of thinking I finally give it a go. I am so pleased with the results as it’s very low tone red which looks great with my skin colour. It also covered my grey hair well. I have brown hair naturally which now look so vibrant and healthy. This hair colour doesn’t irritate skin and is so easy to apply. It strengthens hair and prevents hair breakage. No more grey’s
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Clairol ColorStrong Light Ash Blonde. The 3 step no ammonia hair color system completely covered my grey hairs! It was easy to use, first I used the bonding primer, then I mixed the color bottle, shook it up and applied on my hair, I left it on about 30 minutes, then washed out. The last step is to apply the bonding treatment, just like you would conditioner, then wash out. It left me with a lighter blonde color that I love and because it has AHA in every step it reinforces the internal structure of my hair and makes it stronger.

Gentle formulas for hair coloring
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The instructions and application of the hair coloring was very easy to accomplish. The bonding treatment and formula helps a lot I believe with making the hair coloring last longer and my hair texture was smooth and shiny which is nice to see that this isn’t damaging my hair like other dye packages will do. I also like that there is no ammonia which is gentle on my scalp and hair itself. The only thing I think is off with this product is the color. I expected it to be a little lighter blonde as pictured but it didn’t get nearly as light as I would have thought. It was more dark than I would have pictured.

Not the best hair dye
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not the best hair colour I’ve used, the colour looked completely different to what I was expecting. Pros: The colour mixed well The dye went on to the hair ok Washed out very well Did cover my grey hairs although very few so not sure what it would be like for someone with more Cons: Colour not as vibrant as expected I’ve got short hair and there was just about enough dye to colour it all The serum was near impossible not to get on the roots and left a horrible sticky residue. Overall I would not buy this brand again and would stick to L’Oriel in future.

Not a Medium Golden Brown
Way darker than advertised. Left this on for less than 30 minutes because it darkened so quickly. My hair is naturally very warm toned and was a very dark cool brown when washed.
