A: I truly just borrowed my moms to clean our living room and I am in absolute disbelief/shock at how AMAZING this works. I have two little (wild) boys and a new puppy and STAINS galore. It truly made our carpet look brand new… it looks better than when we hired professionals to clean it before. 1000000% going to purchase this myself!

Some stains I didn't notice until I dedicated an entire day to cleaning my carpet throughout my house, so not sure how long they were there. Every stain I had came out and never came back. I recommend 100%.

Q: What is the water temperature? Heatwave Technology is not an answer and sounds like marketing/PR propaganda. Define HWT and answer the water temperature question!

submitted byjp - 7 years agoA: As you noted, this cleaner uses our HeatWave Technology and does not have a water heater in it. HeatWave Technology helps to maintain the temperature of the water placed in the clean tank. We recommend using hot but not boiling or microwaved tap water in the machine.

A: I have cleaned my daughters ceramic tiled kitchen floors with it because she has a long haired dog. It gets so much dog hair up that I am shocked. I sweep and get up as much as I can before hand and still it finds dog hair. A little messy but wow those floors are clean afterward.

A: I've done it before, make sure you use the express setting so you add less water to the mattress. Be sure to extract as much excess liquid as possible. Once finished allow the mattress to dry for at least 12 hours (leaving moisture can cause mold to form, thus ruining your mattress). I recommend using a box fan on it, to speed up the process of drying

A: Hi Peri Michele, the BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Plus is designed for cleaning carpet and upholstery, not hard surfaces like ceramic or porcelain tile. Using it on tile could damage the machine or the floor. For tile, we recommend a BISSELL hard floor cleaner instead.

The is carpet cleaner has great suction extracting so much dirt. It light and maneuverable making it easy to get under furniture. The hose attachment is also easy to use and the hose attachments are small enough to get into tight spaces, like the creases of upholstery..

Terrible customer service for item ordered online.
I ordered this item 12:50 pm 12/17/25 online. Says processing still at 6:50 pm. Called Kailua store and they cannot/will not look up my order number until order shows completed. Totally unacceptable. I could have driven there in 10 minutes after I ordered it!!! NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER. Now have to wait until tomorrow to go in person to address this.

I have been buying Bissell floor cleaning products for 20 years, and the design and function of the Revolution Pro Pet series blows me away. So easy to use, does a stellar job, and the new features to use in cleaning it out after use are really stellar- it only took me about two minutes and it’s pristine again. Kudos to the team that made this carpet cleaner happen!

Amazing Carpet Cleaner
This carpet cleaner exceeded my expectations. Carpet that was replaced less than a year ago in a rental unit was ruined by a tenant and I was literally dreading another 5K expense. I decided to buy ProHeat 2 and give it a try. It is a miracle maker. I also purchased larger bottles of various cleaning solutions. All in all, I am extremely satisfied.

Stops working too soon, attachment .not working
I’ve had this product for several years. The main annoyance is that the machine stops working before the dirty water reservoir is full, forcing me to empty it multiple times. And the upholstery attachment does not work, so I cannot do the stairs at all because the machine is too heavy. I will have to hire someone for that.

This machine I used 3x so far, I cleaned my carpet and upholstery. I was very surprised of how clean everything came out. Also very embarrassed of the dirty water I emptied. So far I am so glad I purchased this machine. The only issue that was a little annoying is the dirty water tank fills up quick (on max)- other than that, this machine is perfect!!

I’ve had my Bissell steam carpet cleaner for a few months now and have only great things to say. I only take the time to review products that I either really like or am disappointed with. In this case, I’m very happy with the product! I find it easy to use for several reasons. First, it’s easy to fill and holds a gallon of water plus cleaning solution. Second, it’s very easy to empty the dirty water and keep going. Third, although it’s heavier to push and pull than a vacuum cleaner, it’s very effective in cleaning the carpet and pretty easy to maneuver. I was using a special light to help me detect the areas on my carpets that had “pet accidents “. Our newest rescue dog has for some reason decided to “mark” certain areas. We didn’t realize it at first so some of the areas dried. The heated cleaner helped to lift the soiled areas fairly easily and quickly. I used the light afterwards and detected no signs of the stains. Getting all the way down to the carpet pad is another issue. I think this cleaner can only do the carpet surface well. I’m not sure anything can get to the pad to totally neutralize the smell and stain. That said, I’m very pleased with the results. I have not used the hose yet for the stairs but it looks really simple to use. My biggest issue is figuring out when I can clean the stairs without anyone needing to access them so the carpet has time to fully dry.

Foot pedal was broken off and excess water was flowing out of reservoir tank. I believe I was given a damaged or returned item. I called BISSELL and they will look at machine but I will think again about buying again. I read the reviews and it came highly rated. I will follow up with this review to let other consumers know. Very disappointed. I gave it a 2 because the manufacturer was so nice but I did have to call them twice.

Wow! I am so mad I didn’t get this thing sooner.. it would have saved my back so much from using the little green machine which was really just a spot cleaner. I was so embarrassed of my carpet With 2 boys running in and out and sippy cup messes this thing was definitely worth the money! If you have carpet you need this!!!

worth the money, seriously
preface, I have used Bissell brand for my carpet cleaner for years and have no at on other brands In the past I've bought the cheapest version I could get and it would do the work and leave my carpets wet for hours. THIS ONE has been a game changer and well worth the money. by the time I got done with the second bedroom, the first room I did was virtually dry! it did a better job pulling up water than the professionals who had cleaned it just a month prior and to be fair with how much dirth it pulled up it has me wondering if the professionals just sprayed water all over the floor and called it a day. Cleaning the head was super easy, easier than the cheaper one and cleaning all tanks was a breeze. So much so I took a pause thinking I forgot a part to clean. In my experience there's always residual water, and what people are calling a leak isn't actually a leak. 10/10 would recommend and considering asking my friends if they want their carpets cleaned haha!

Definitely not worth the money or effort. Also when putting a gallon of water solution down, a good cleaner should definitely suck up more than 1/4 gallon. In addition it would be nice to end up with a clean carpet, except it looked the same.
