Very nice looking and powerful. It provides a good suction. However, in reality it lacks a proper contact with the carpet due to its light weight. For a thick carpet, we had to press the front part of the base to pull out the dirty water that was being left behind otherwise. Attachments are also not so great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ProHeat 2X Revolution FreshStart by Bissell is a very powerful machine! It's cleaning power is great. I would like to say that both of the cleaning water and dirty water tanks are small; this isn't for a large room, unless you're wanting to refill and empty very very often. Even a small room that is soiled a lot will require quite a few changes and refills. (While using Deep or Max Clean) The included cleaning liquid that came with this cleaner worked great, as well. It had a nice smell. I had to switch to a different cleaning solution because I ran out of what it comes with. I will definitely be buying what came with the cleaner! I love how easy it is to clean! You set the cleaner in the black base and dump water into the black base and follow the directions in the book to clean! It's very easy. Also, the cleaning bottle for this part of cleaning the machine itself seemed to work nicely. The setting I liked the most was the Max Clean; It really got the hard spots out. The hand tool was great for getting spots out, too. Think marker and makeup in a pre-teen's room carpet! Overall, this machine is great! I do wish the tanks were bigger, because I just want to use this thing everywhere and not have to fill up and empty every 5-10 minutes (on MaxClean)! I do recommend this carpet cleaner and cleaning solutions! I had a mostly great experience with this product! Ease of use, how well it performed and the ease of cleaning the machine after using was great. I do believe this cleaner is meant for smaller rooms because of the size of the tanks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cleaner does the dirty work for you! My house is a “lived in” house with a very active messy 4 year old and a 3 year old 70lb dog. You name the mess and it has existed in my house… until now! What has this vacuum removed? Vomit Urine Mud Syrup Glitter This cleaner keeps it simple so it can fix the mess and you can rest! Simple. Fill the water tank to the water line, add the cleaner to the measured line. When you have a major mess, you don’t want to fuss with details. Plug it in, and let it work. The amount of yuck this thing sucks up is impressive. Shockingly impressive. The vacuum is heavy and loud, but that’s why it’s able to do the toughest jobs. The detachable wand/head is perfect for smaller jobs on furniture and even the stairs. It’s incredibly satisfying to see the dirt in the container afterward. Clean up is easy. Empty the dirty tank, place the vacuum on the included cleaning tray, add water and let it run. It rinses the brushes! Empty the tanks and let dry. It’s ready for the next mess… even if you aren’t!

I used this to clean a persian carpet, an outdoor woven carpet, Also 2 large couches- it cleans amazingly well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used other bissell carpet cleaners and while most of them are good, this Bissell ProHeat 2 Revolution FreshStart works SO well. It really pulls up the pet hair. I am always amazed at how I can vacuum, and then shampoo, and it's like I've never vacuumed my home before. This does the same. But the ability to remove stains, is top notch! We have pets and kids, and white carpet, plus we live in a state with snow, and mud. We have to have a carpet cleaner that is easy to use, and gets the job done. And this does all that and then some. First of all, I like that it is lightweight. I have to haul it floor to floor due to storage space, and this is easy to maneuver. The footprint of the machine is a little larger, but I am going to tell you right now - you want the self cleaning feature. This is the first machine of mine that has it, and it's so handy. No more gunky, hair filled, removal of the front. Trying to stick that tool down there and release the gunk. This actually is quick to clean, and I don't feel like it's ever gooey and gross if you do. The one downfall is that it's super loud. There are multiple cleaning modes on it, if you're doing a deep clean, quick clean or max mode. The suction is great. And the brush works good too. My husband liked that on quick clean the carpets seemed to dry faster, and that works for most of our weekly cleanup needs. The tools are good quality, and easy to snap in if you need to use them. The only downfall is that they do not have dedicated space on the machine, so you need somewhere else to be able to store them. Ultimately this is one of the nicest, and best cleaning carpet machines I've had for at home use, and my husband has a professional carpet extractor he uses for rental properties. This one was right on par.

First and foremost the best part is how heavy the bottom is (not too heavy to carry, but heavy enough to get low to the floor). I know past cleaners I've used I've had trouble with suction because the base was too light to really hit the bottom for the carpet and this did a great job getting everything out, even when fully recline to reach under my daughters loft bed. The carpet was left with the classic suction lines when done. Another pro was how easy all the attachments were to remove and connect. The hose was specifically so easy to push in and put and worked very well. The brush attachment got a yellow stain mostly out of my carpet I previously couldn't get at all and I thank the excellent suction for that as well as the cleaner that came with the product. Speaking of the cleaner my cat peed on our carpet and my old carpet cleaner got most of the smell out (after I treated with enzyme cleaner) but the smell still lingered after several attempts at extraction. After one pass with this vacuum the smell is gone! I like that it comes with multiple cleaner modes but the deep clean is going to be a frequent flyer in my house! It also comes with a tray to add cleaner and spin the brissles in to clean them without having to take the who unit apart, which is a breeze to use. The only cons I have is I wish that the water and solution had different tanks as I rinse with water after and had to dump and save remaining cleaner so I could fill with just water. I also thought even though the suction was good a lot of water was somehow still left on the carpet. It was very wet after finishing, yet somehow dried quickly? Overall I think it was well worth the price and did a great job! I will be using this very frequently to keep my house fresh!

This Bissell deep cleaner works as well as I expected. It was so easy to assemble and use. The carpet cleaner is lightweight and very simple to use the attachments, which I used for my stairs and couches. I love the different cleaning modes and the solution that it came with works phenomenal with a very pleasant scent. I highly recommend this ProHeat 2X Revolution FreshStart.

We have our rugs cleaned professionally once a year and i use a home rug scrubber in between. I don’t love shoes in the house - but I do have boys who don’t always listen. I was 100% impressed by what this cleaner picked up. Within minutes I was disgusted by what was coming out of my rugs. It felt so good watching the dust and dirt being sucked up. The other feature I loved was the suction. Anytime I use a rug scrubber at home- my rugs are always soaked for days unless I used fans. My rugs barely felt damp at the end! I didnt have to set any fans - which saved me time and energy. I used it to spot clean my couches as well and that was just as great! The attachment were nice and long so I I could reach the back of the couch without having to move it- bonus! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this deep cleaner was impressive. I used it on several areas of our carpet that were showing some stains. I was thrilled when the discoloration nearly disappeared after using this deep cleaner. My beloved dog had an accident in one area and, thanks to this cleaner, the carpet is fresh and clean. Not a trace left- it smells and looks good as new. The other area of my carpet was spotted with stains from everyday life. The tan carpet took on more of a gray color in splotches. Although the color isn’t completely back to normal, the spotting is not nearly as noticeable! Since both of these areas were in main rooms and easy to access, I did not take advantage of the attachment options. Luckily, though, there are a plethora of options to make this tool as useful as possible in hard to reach places. The various levels of cleaning modes were wonderful as they allowed for variety in cleaning strength and power. Lastly, the included cleaning formulas work perfectly for me. The FreshStart formula helped the cleaner run smoothly the brush was fresh! This is a great cleaner that I will definitely take advantage of often!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Of the several shampooers I have used, this one is one of the best - even moreso than the heavier duty ones available for rent in big box stores! The shampooer is incredibly light and nimble to use without sacrificing capacity or power! I have used this product across multiple rug types in my home including low, medium, and berber style piles and it excelled across them all - leaving them looking almost new after months of heavy foot traffic and animal usage. This shampooer also comes with a hose and upholstery attachments to clean fabric furniture. Most impressively, this product also came with a large plastic storage tray for the shampooer to rest on when not in use. This tray has convenient storage slots for the upholstery attachments and the tray can be used to self clean the brushes off. Would definitely recommend purchasing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really easy to assemble, use and clean out. Carpet smelled great right after but dog urine smell was still there a few days later. Carpet stains were gone though! I think we just need to find the right cleaning solution to use with the machine and it'll be exactly what we need. Even my 7 year old daughter was able to use the carpet cleaner. She had a lot of fun seeing how clean the carpet got and emptied the dirty water.

This machine leaks. When you stop moving it continues to put water on the floor. Our previous one did the same thing that's why we bought this one. Unfortunately for us, now we have to wait for another one and have only 3 days to get done. On the other hand, we do love this brand for it's cost and normally it's quality.

I’ve always despised having carpet in my house because I feel like it gets so dirty and I can never get it clean but this carpet cleaner has been great! It got up so much dirt out of the carpets! I was also super surprised to see that is got a TON of dog hair that my vacuum was not getting up and I vacuum often. I highly recommend this carpet cleaner to anyone but especially those who have pets that shed!

It cleans very well but it leaks and the water usage is a lot. I had to refill it about it 7 times to do two small bedrooms and a hallway. Mind you then while I’m filling it the container leaks so if you gotta fill it and carry up the steps it goes everywhere. The pieces are cheaply made and it just feels cheap but like I said it did clean well. To use it is more of a headache than it’s worth to have clean carpets. I probably would only do it once a year with how much I was annoyed. I probably would not spend the money on this.

In a house with 3 kids and 2 large dogs, we're messy, really messy, and this carpet cleaner not only cleaned our carpets but was easy to transport around the house. The vaccuum itself is easy to move around the house and the attachable hose cleaning functionality is key for spot cleaning. We've used the hose attachment to clean dog messes on the carpets, stairs, and even kid spills on the couch. The cleaning forumla did a wonderful job cleaning the carpets and leaving them smelling fresh and clean without an overpowering scent. My husband even commented at how much better our carpets have looked after using the ProHeat 2X - can't recommend this product enough!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the ProHeat 2X Revolution Fresh Start once since receiving it. I have carpet and rugs. I used this on my rug. I have 2 dogs- one being elderly who spits up occasionally. After his medication, he spit up and so I used it on the stain. The stain was the size of a small saucer. It came up very quickly. The attachments are convenient and I appreciate the flexibility and multiple options. I haven’t had a chance to use all of the modes but I am looking forward to seeing how all three work. The cleaning formulas worked well, smelled good and are easy to use. Overall I am very impressed with what I’ve seen and experienced so far. I know this will be very handy for my elderly dog’s messes. I also have a young child, so I’m sure I’ll be able to use this with her as well!

My carpets looked brighter within minutes, even in high-traffic spots. It handled everything, pet messes( we have cats who throw up often), spills( we have a 4 year old toddler who insists she doesn’t need our help), old stains with no problem. The attachments were super handy for the couch, stairs, and toddler carseat. The three cleaning modes were great, too. Deep Clean for full rooms, Express when I needed fast drying, and Max Clean for tougher spots ( toddler drawing with marker on the rug). The cleaning formulas worked well, especially the FreshStart one-it kept the machine and the room smelling actually fresh, not "wet carpet" fresh. Overall, it made deep cleaning way easier and way more effective. Hinhly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was genuinely excited to try this deep cleaner since I hadn’t cleaned my carpets in the three years I’ve lived in my home and with multiple dogs who’ve had accidents, it was definitely overdue. The machine was pretty simple to set up. I was eager to see how well it would handle everything. The cleaning power was solid. Even though I didn’t notice a dramatic difference in the carpet’s appearance at first, the dirty water tank told a very different story it was clearly pulling up a lot of hidden dirt! I mainly focused on giving my carpet its first true deep clean since moving in. I also targeted old pet accidents from my dogs, which was one of the big reasons I wanted a machine like this. The attachments were especially helpful. I used the staircase tool on my stairs, which were extremely dirty with multiple spots, and it made a noticeable difference. It was one of my favorite features of the machine. I really like having the three cleaning modes. I used the deep clean mode for areas with pet accidents, and the express clean mode for high-traffic spaces I needed to walk on soon after cleaning, like my office. The flexibility is nice to have. Both included formulas worked really well and left a great smell throughout the house. The FreshStart formula in particular helped keep the machine and brush roll feeling clean and fresh, which I appreciated not having to do that separately and having those options included with the machine as well. Overall, I liked the machine but I may just need more practice because I notice that it leaves a wet spot wherever I set it down. It is also a little heavy, as expected, so if cleaning large areas, it can get tiring. I tried this in the winter time so drying also took longer than I hoped but i'm sure in the summer heat (especially here in Vegas) the weather will help dry things a lot faster.

Great carpet cleaner — an upgrade from my previous unit. I especially appreciated the larger volume of clean and dirty water compartments and the wider swath cleaned in each pass 😊. Combines, this made the job more efficient without the need to empty/refill these reservoirs several times to clean an entire carpeted room.
