This Create n Decorate kit comes complete with 900 beads in 24 colors, more than enough to create whatever your imagination desires. This set includes a handy carry case to store all of your beads, flip tray to take off your bead design from the tray instantly after spraying water, and template sheets as well as a water sprayer, and even creation display and design pegs to decorate your creations on. When the bead creations are completely dried after 60 minutes, carefully take the creation off from the tray and decorate onto the carry case or creation display with design pegs. My 9-year-old, my 4-year-old, and I all sat down and divided out the beads into the trays and made a cute design! My 4-year-old is duck obsessed, so she made a duck! My 9-year-old got creative and made her own art, and I made a heart! Super easy to do! All we did was pick a design, line up our beads to match the deisgn, spray some water, and let it dry for a few minutes and ta-da, now they have cute handmade keychains for their backpacks that they created! They are excited to make more as christmas gifts for friends and even as christmas decorations for the tree! I think this is a fabulous gift for any kid who loves arts and crafts! Plus, the best part is that it all goes right back into the cute purse shaped organizer to keep everything together and tidy. The packaging is a win for sure! 10/10 I will definitely be repurchasing this product! Aqua beads for the win!

Finicky
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was our second attempt at making an aquabeads creation. Our first one completely fell apart, despite following the directions and waiting the appropriate amount of time for it to dry. The second time we let it sit for much longer to ensure it dried and all stuck together. It seems quite a bit flimsier than its perler bead counterpart. That being said, my 7 year old daughter thoroughly enjoys playing with it.

Messy when spilled but fun for kids

The pieces are very tiny and my daughter dropped it and it was a disaster to clean up! That was my main concern in this product,. Easy to take with and store because of the little carry case.

Poor instructions and not fun for kids
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old and I have attempted a couple of the templates and they are very frustrating. The instructions for the different options are poorly detailed pictures and occasionally have a time on them that I guess you are supposed to wait for it to dry but that isn’t even clear. When you are putting down the beads you have to be very steady because if you slightly bump any of the other beads everything moves out of place. When you spray them it seems to take way longer than the instructions say to actually dry and stay together, and even then it is very fragile. The box says in small print to wash hands after using because of whatever is on them to make them stick together when they get wet, so I definitely wouldn’t recommend for kids any younger than my 7 year old for the risk of them putting their fingers in their mouth before washing. Overall, this is not a craft my daughter enjoyed or wanted to do again.

The beads stuck together well, but they are a little fragile- it comes with key rings to attach but there is no way anything would hold up if hung from a backpack. The case concept is good- but the beads are hard to get out of the case if you pour them in. And it’s super easy to spill. The case doesn’t close securely either so it’s an accident waiting to happen. Not too big to store, but it is a pain to play with. My daughter also struggled with the beads moving in and out of the little prongs to form the designs and got frustrated a few times. The designs themselves were cute.

Fun to design, but the drying process was slow and
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The AquaBeads Create & Decorate set was easy and fun to design with, but the drying process was really disappointing. We followed the instructions sprayed water, left it in the tray for 15 minutes, drained the water, and let it sit but it never fully dried. It actually took almost two days, and even then the back had this weird sticky, glue-like layer. The idea of the set is great, and the designs themselves are simple to make, but the drying time and messy finish definitely take away from the experience.

Best gift for crafty kids

avoid! cool idea, poor execution
waste of money! followed the directions perfectly, and looked up videos online, and it still fell apart quickly after we let it rest for the amount of time with water. we are a huge craft family and will definitely not be purchasing any more of these. it’s also very hard to put the beads in the spaces provided and one tiny move will send them all flying around the board. avoid avoid avoid.

Fun to create
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids really enjoyed this! This was our first time trying them and it did take a minute to figure out what to do, the directions only show pictures so weren’t 100% clear. We had a couple creations fall apart and had to do a repair. I am not sure younger children would like this. The beads are very small and hard to pick up, it was good for a 10 year old but not sure it would be for much younger. Overall a fun way to let your child be creative.

Creative and crafty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kit was a ton of fun for my daughter. There are plenty of beads in multiple colors to make your creation colorful and unique. The convenient carry case keeps everything contained and portable. These seem safer and easier for kids to use than the beads that require a hot iron to set, as these only need to be sprayed with water and then set to dry.
