I bought 2 of these for my nieces when they turned 11 and 12. It was a very cool craft. They needed a little assistance for some parts. Finished product was so neat and would make a perfect nightlight. Not sure how long the batteries last.

I absolutely loved doing this with my preschooler! I did have to help her assemble it but it was so fun and very easy to follow instructions. It included lots of extra supplies to add our own touches or do whatever you'd like with after! FYI My girl has removed the top several times to get in there and play with everything inside so I would recommend putting it up high if you don't want them to move anything when your done and hold onto the glue for this purpose!

My 5 year old helped me put this together and we had a lot of fun with it. It is kind of a lengthy and somewhat messy process, but the end result was adorable. My advice would be to do it in stages so there is time for the glue to set and nothing gets knocked over or stuck to something that it shouldn't. The glue is awesome (seriously, what kind is this? I love it) and it sets fairly quickly and is super sticky. The lights are very bright and do a great job in bringing the whole scene together. My 5-year-old unicorn super-fan is in love with this, I just hope it doesn't get knocked over because the glass feels a little thin.

This is such a nice kit! The dome is glass - not plastic - so better for older children. It's especially unique that you create two levels - a water level for the Narwhals and a land level for the Unicorns.It comes with everything needed (even the glue) to create a sweet little lighted scene.My 6 yo granddaughter really likes unicorns and we enjoy crafting together - so this will be a wonderful activity for our next 'crafting with Grandma day'.
