Q: Does it record sound

A: Press the OK Button to enter record mode and select to which of the three slots you would like to save your mix. After a count down, recording will begin. The system will record the sound from Turntable, Vocal Track, Sound Grid Buttons, Preset SFX Buttons, Custom Sound Effects Buttons (see note below), Crossfader actions and Tempo Buttons changes. When you finish recording, press the OK Button to save your mix. NOTE If you create new custom sound effects at a later time, when you play back tracks recorded earlier, any custom sound effects in the original recordings will trigger the system’s current custom effects

Q: Does this come with anything ELSE except the unit itself and batteries? I'm afraid I threw some wires away :-/ Also, troubleshooting for connecting Bluetooth? We're really struggling

Here are some tips to getting the bluetooth connection: If there is a pairing problem with your Bluetooth ® device, please follow these steps: Please ensure the DJ Mixer is not in Try-Me mode before attempting to pair to a Bluetooth ® wireless connection. 1. On your Bluetooth ® enabled device, please go to Bluetooth ® settings. If “DJ Mixer” is found in your list of connected, paired or saved devices, please “forget” or “unpair” it. 2. Disable and enable Bluetooth ® or restart your device. 3. Turn the DJ Mixer off and on and repeat the pairing process

BUYER BEWARE
This toy is addictive in a problematic way. I think the lights on it or something about it is just too much. My 8 year old could not pull herself away from it and literally played with it all day long. The only time she ever gets like that is with screens. My 3 year old started to play with it and started waking up frequently at night and physically acting out the motions of playing with the mixer in his sleep. Sure this is a fun entertaining toy that will keep their attention but if you have a neurodivergent child PLEASE set time limits while using it or don’t get it at all. It’s not worth the sleep interruptions and nightmares from the flashing lights and repetitive sounds. I even got a headache after listening to it too much. I’d rather listen to them smash a keyboard piano toy instead.

Nice while it lasted
Really disappointed because both my kids loved this toy while it worked. Within a few days it just shut off after a few seconds. I replaced the batteries but we still had the same issues with it turning off within a few seconds of turning on. Going to return and hopefully try a new one- maybe we just got a dud.

I don’t often leave reviews, but this toy has been a huge hit at our house and is worth every penny. It has sooo many sound options and makes such fun music.
