There’s no free play option. The freestyle option interrupts your beats with its own little rhythm randomly and distracts my kid from trying to make the sounds he wanted. Good for playing follow the leader I suppose

No Drumming Mode
This is just another annoying electronic non-stop talking toy. There is no mode for letting a kid just play the drums. I bought this when she was three. She’s nearly five, and I’m about to donate the drums. In all this time, she’s maybe spent a total of five minutes on them, so they’ve basically just been taking up space. I works recommend just turning some pots upside down and let your child bang on those for fun.

Cheaper online vs in-store
It’s ok. My toddler liked it in the store and now doesn’t like it at home. Pretty annoying that it’s $20.49 in store and $5 cheaper on the website so if you do like this, do order pick up or ship it with your other stuff so you save a few bucks!
