What It Is: This gentle exfoliating cleanser refines the appearance of pores while brightening, smoothing, and clarifying skin. Its creamy, nourishing formula replenishes moisture while it exfoliates so it won't strip your skin.

Very Gentle Exfoliant, but Not Enough for My Skin
I’ve been using this exfoliant for a bit and had mixed results. The first thing I noticed was the scent — it smells strongly of lemongrass, which may be nice for some people, but it’s not my personal favorite, especially for a facial product. In terms of exfoliation, it’s definitely gentle. There is a lot of grit, but the particles are very small and fine, so it didn’t feel very effective for my skin. I prefer exfoliants that leave my face feeling noticeably smoother and cleaner afterward, and this one didn’t quite deliver that for me. After rinsing, my skin didn’t feel especially clean and almost felt like there was a slight film left behind. It wasn’t irritating, but it also wasn’t the fresh, polished feeling I usually look for after exfoliating. I’ll finish the bottle, but I don’t think I’ll repurchase. This may work better for someone with very sensitive skin who wants an extremely mild exfoliant, but it wasn’t strong enough for my preferences.

I really wanted to like this because it did a really great job at exfoliating and I loved the way my skin felt after BUT it totally broke me out immediately. And I do not have sensitive skin at all. I like the texture of this scrub, and how it leaves my face smooth. However, it has sort of a rancid fryer oil smell. I can't really describe it. It's not a strong smell, but I wouldn't call it pleasant. I can deal with it, because the product works as intended and doesn't clog my pores. the cap needs a redesign. unscrewing a cap in the shower can be tricky.

Im so thankful I was given the opportunity to try out Versed new products! As someone who has constantly dealt with redness and uneven skin tones I'm always on the lookout for things that can help reduce them and make my skin look refreshed and hydrated. This did both of those things! I've been using weekend glow for a few months and I'm very pleased with how it makes my skin feel and how it doesn't leave it feeling sticky. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a complimentary bottle in December and have recently purchased another--Weekend Glow has truly removed fine lines, given me a wonderful glow, and has definitely removed some dark spots--my aesthetician mentioned without prompting (!) the difference in dark spots after 3 months' use. I won't be caught without Weekend Glow now, and it is gentle enough for my sensitive skin while still working miracles. It sinks in quickly, I use it at night before moisturizing, and has no odor nor leaves any stickiness behind. Thank you, VERSED--you've made a true believer out of me.
