This machine was a good value, fitting non-straight branches and offshoots well. Highly recommend it for a moderately quiet, powerful little machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little chipper! You do feel safe when operating it. I wish it had a little bit broader mouth or funnel. You do need to have pretty straight branches with most of the side branches cut off. But overall it is still a pretty handy machine to have. I would recommend this chipper to others.

It is simple to use and in my opinion very safe due to the restrictive holes for placing your brush. It did not do real well with bendable viney type brush but everything else it just ate up.

The Sun Joe chipper is perfect for those types of smaller jobs as it caters to smaller branches. Our garbage company only picks up once a week now and if it’s not in a bag they won’t touch it, so we chip it up but mostly use it for mulch! Handy to! Works well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chipper does the job really well! Despite it's small size, it handles all my cypress and shrubbery branches great! As long as you know the limitations of the chipper, it does a great job chipping solid branches. It is great to be able to recycle and reuse the product at the end of its life cycle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After Burning all the small twigs and branches from our trees in the yard for years the Sun Joe chipper is the bomb! Now all small branches are shredded and used for mulch in our garden beds! Helps to preserve moisture and looks great!

It also makes a good amount of mulch depending on the amount of branches you put thru. In all this woodchipper has come in handy for my house. I do like it alot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great machine for everyday yard use. It’s not the industrial-type thing that’s towed behind a truck. It’s for smaller sticks and twigs. The stuff you find laying around your yard all the time. But it eats it right up and makes finer than expected mulch. The auto shutoff is a good safety feature. I jammed in a stick that was a little too big and it could have gotten dangerous, but the machine shut itself off and I was able to take it out. If something just barely fits in the hole it’s probably too big! Overall it’s very helpful. It runs through a pile of sticks easily and lets us keep them out of the landfill. Every little bit helps!

As you get closer to the max diameter of 1.5 inches, you have to be more delicate with the branch or the machine will jam. If you have a yard with lots trees that generates lots of sticks, this is a good product to turn those sticks into mulch for repurposing.

I think i tried putting pieces too big at first and it didnt work…thej i used skinnier twigs and they all went right through. Definitely read the instructions so you dint get it “clogged” like i did. This little guy seems to have a decent amount of power and i love that i used the chips in my planters so it all works out well

It was very easy and took no time to assemble and get started. The machine isn’t loud either so that’s a plus! Overall, I’m very happy with this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE it!! I cant believe how great this Sun Joe Electric Wood Chipper is! Its great for many reasons but ill start with ...free mulch! Its so great to finally be able to recyle all the shrubbery clippings , tree limbs and things that fall out of the trees into great mulch that makes my beds look better and improves the soil. No waste and no more hauling yard trash out to the street where it may or may not get picked up! This chipper is really light weight...i can handle it myself easily because its on wheels. i just put it over the bed i want to mulch..feed though the branches and clippings i want to dispose of and the mulch drops out underneath...it couldnt be any easier! it takes nice size limbs up to 1.5 inches thick. Theres a tool for pushing things through thats attached with a cord so it wont get lost. Safety features include rubber flaps so things wont bounce out, a way to disable the on switch and it wont start if its opened up to clear a jam. (ive never had a jam!) It was super easy to assemble out of the box . I really like that its electric...just plug it in and its ready to go. Its surprisingly powerful for its size! when im through with it i put a waterproof cover over it and push it behind the shrubbery where its ready to go again anytime. Its actually fun to use!

Twigs that are small tend to just barely chop and end up as small 3"-5" sticks in the bucket. Wear eye protection because some debris made its way back up at my face. Burning your sticks would be faster but if you can't do that, this will work. If your time is valuable, this process takes too long. Machine is not ad loud as a typical lawn mower. I wore earbuds anyway.

This is a solid little chipper that does the job needed for small limbs and debris. It's not going to handle any major project but if you just need small property clean up this works just fine.
