Sony WF-1000XM6 True Wireless Bluetooth Noise Cancelling Earbuds - Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first noise cancelling earbuds! It took a little bit to get used to the fit of them, and how snug they need to be for the noise cancelling affect to happen. Had to use different sizes in each ear, which does make sharing them a little harder. I liked that you could press them to have pass through sound, so I didn’t have to remove them to have a conversation. Clear sound, seem high quality. Haven’t worn them for durations over an hour, so can’t speak on long term comfort. But after an hour my ears had minimal discomfort!

Have had the 1000XM3 for the last few years and purchased the 1000XM6. The sound quality and noise cancelling is so much better. Also the case is much smaller and fits in your pocket better. Would highly recommend.

These earphones are very good. They deliver the experience I was expecting and are comfortable to use.

The ANC is better than the M5. But the design of the earbuds is very uncomfortable and they stick so far out of your ear. It looks goofy, and it feels uncomfortable. If you plan to wear a beanie, a helmet, or anything that covers your ears it will be a bad fit. Every time when I pair the earbuds with my phone the ANC is always turned off and I need to make sure to activate it.

good sound and anc. Ya that's it. The ambient mode does not really get mentioned probably cause it's not the greatest compared to other earbuds and headphones. The PAIN in my ear though made me return them after trying them for a few days. It is not comfortable at all, you can try other tips they come with, but still it's not "it". also due to them being foam it can cause humidity from heat outside which also is not comfortable. The price as well is crazy for earbuds, I would stick with cheaper brands even if you're looking for "luxury" which is all you're paying extra for.

Been using the XM6's for 2 weeks now and they are fantastic. The audio quality is truly magnificent!

Very happy with noise cancelling and sound quality however buds feel insecure in ears with correct size foam inserts. Difficult to gauge if they are inserted correctly when on the move.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really happy to try out these noise cancelling earbuds. The charging and pairing process was relatively easy. It also seems to be well made with the ear bud charging case nice and sturdy and the overall feeling of the earbuds also seem well made and durable. The sound quality was really good as was the noise cancelling capability. The medium sized cushion which was the one already placed onto the air buds fit my ears well and they seem like they would stay put. The only thing I worry about is the weight of the earbuds when I wear them for a long period of time. With that said I really love the quality of these earbuds and will be happily using them!

I bought these around a month ago they are great but the right earbud has issues charging, that’s the only issue I have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay my first reaction when I tried the Sony WF-1000XM6 earbuds was wow! I’m not really an earbud person but these actually fit my ears so well. I love that they come with different size tips because not every ear is the same. At first I had to adjust them a little to get comfortable but once I found the right spot the noise canceling kicked in immediately. I was honestly shook lol. I was standing next to our loud air conditioner and thought it turned off because I couldn’t hear anything. The sound quality is really good. Listening to music with these feels like a whole experience not just background noise. My husband is really into earbuds and he loved them too but he did have a harder time getting the right fit. So I can see that being a small downside for some people. But if they fit your ears right I think you’ll love them like I do 🙂

Bought these to replaced WF-1000XM3 earbuds after 6 years of usage at home & abroad. The WF-1000XM6 are a vast improvement; smaller, even better fitting in-ear. Very easy to pair with phone, great sound options, excellent battery life. Definitely worth the price for functionality & features. If I can get another 6+ years of usage as I did with WF-XM3, will continue to be very satisfied with Sony products.

These are really good headphone and the sound is really good to I like the fact that l can changedth== the sound using the Sony app its really goos and very easy to do.

Not good, disappointed and very little of an upgrade from my old WF1000-XM4. Active Noise Cancelling(ANC) is average and turns off regardless of settings. The cycle between OFF, AMBIENT and ANC is temperamental and seems to get confused a lot. Even when it's on the level of background noise is far from impressive. Sound quality is good. Clear and slightly better than previous models but this is subjective and they all sound good if you fiddle with EQ Battery is definitely less than stated, did not get the time I even had from my old XM4s (after I had to replace the battery on them myself due to the common issue of them being unusable after a firmware update). Connection is average, they haven't cut out much but sometimes one will not work and they need to be put back in the case once or twice to kick in. Also yesterday there was a split second delay between them so it was echoey which was annoying. At this level of price this is not good. Not good enough for new earphones. Fit is weird, they poke out, so if you have the touch control function on it constantly mistakenly pauses or turns ambient sound on. If you have a hood or hat or try to sleep with them they will need to have touch function turned off. But they still don't fit well for me regardless of the ear tip used. Sound can also be affected by turning the head which is terrible for new flagship earphones. Lots of pointless gimmicky features (360 sound etc) but can't do the basics right. Ambient sound is stupid to me but I'm sure some people like it. I would rather just take them out personally, particularly if the addition of such features hinders performance. Equally I don't need the earphones to guess where I am and change modes. I see no use for the ANC 'off' mode. The cycle between ANC on, ANC Off and Ambient sound for me means having 2 settings I would never use. The background mode is odd but I did find it useful on occasion (however I could gladly live without it). The app is clunky and poor for a brand as big as Sony. Lots of personalisation and EQ but cycling between features didn't seem to work on occasion. After the battery issues on my XM4s and now these new ones being poor I have little trust in Sony. I will try to return them after 2 weeks of genuinely desperately wanting them to be good. Ps I have updated to latest firmware and tried the steps mentioned in the replies to other reviews.

The charge case is sleek and small perfect to throw in your purse or pocket. They were quick and easy to connect to my phone. The Sony app made it easy to setup and test the different sizes.

The sound quality is super clean, the bass hits but isn't overpowering, and the vocals are crisp and clear. These are great for music, podcasts, and calls. The noise canceling power is great as well. I instantly notice a reduction in noise as soon as I put them in. These are very comfortable in my ear and come with different size ear fittings to give the perfect fit. I wore them for a few hours and didn't notice any ear fatigue or soreness. Battery life is great and the case is the perfect size for traveling.
