DO NOT BUY! One robot worked the other didn’t. After returning it and giving another try - same problem. Blue robot worked. White robot would not. Even tried calling the manufacture’s number on the box to get help with no success. Don’t buy it. Son is sad - but it isn’t worth it.

I purchased these for my grandson's as a gift left by Santa under the tree, and they weren't able to even see how they worked because the screw in the white remote controller came striped & unremovable to be able to put batteries in! So I'm unsure how well any of it worked bc of this. The boys couldn't understand why they weren't able to play with them & we're sad & disappointed. I gave it two stars bc my one grandson liked the robot so much, he carried it around for a bit & bc they bots were cute. Unfortunately this will have to be returned to the store :(

3.5 yr old loves, mainly cause it is his first robot toy. But these are crappy. They don’t respond to the remotes well. It’s annoying they don’t have the ability to go backwards. They barely go side to side, it’s super delayed. Should have known better than to buy a sharper image product. The box was destroyed while opening on Christmas or I would return them. Will likely try to contact sharper image.

FIRE/SAFETY HAZARD
Removed these from the boxes. Added batteries to both brand new bots and controllers. White controller immediately started getting HOT and smelled like BURNING. We opened the back of the controller to pop out the SCORCHING HOT batteries - quick investigation uncovered melted plastic and incorrect wiring inside of the controller. This was a gift for a child, luckily nobody was hurt. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Doesn't move
2 year old son LOVES these. They do the punching motion, but the moving buttons on both remotes don’t work and they are brand new. For $42, not worth it.

Don't be fooled
My son noticed this item on the shelf and excitedly requested it for his birthday. First, the white item was not assembled correctly, so it could not move at all. Fortunately, this was something that could be remediated. However, it was extremely disappointing to find that wheels were not powered. The only way that these items move are by swinging their torsos to inch forward or to turn and the wheels are completely passive, which is not what would be expected from the packaging. If you are considering this item, please review it carefully and I would recommend looking elsewhere due to the lack of quality and the poor play experience.

Why does it move like that???
My 10 year old quickly got aggravated.. yes they do what it says they do, heads pop off, all the things .. BUT they don't go in reverse, and they don't glide straight and/or turn. More like shuffle in a side-to-side motion while progressing across the floor. Stuck against a wall? There's no getting out of it. Corner? Sorry no. You have to physically pick up the robot and place where you want it. Short-lived fun.

Fun for 10 mins
These were the most wanted item for my 6 year old for Christmas. He played with them the first week and hasn’t touched them since. They are fun and the heads pop off easily(which is good for younger kids) but I think it starts to become slightly boring after about 10 mins. I personally would not buy them again.
