A: The car has a built-in battery pack that is not replaceable. The controller uses 4xAA batteries. The car is charged using the included UBS-C cable.

Q: Does it work on textured ceilings?

A: Textured ceilings, maybe (texture has to be shallow; "popcorn" ceilings, no. The flatter the surface, the better. In my case, we have semi-gloss painted ceilings and walls and the car had a hard time transitioning from the wall to the ceiling (the wheels would slip).

A: The Gravity Rover takes about 100 minutes to fully charge. Battery life will vary depending on how it's used as driving on the walls and ceiling requires more power than driving on the floor. Thank you

I purchased this item for my 9-year-old grandson for Christmas. He opened the item on Dec. 26, and it did not work. It's not well made and I should have checked the online reviews for this item before I purchased it. I'm returning the item to Target tomorrow (Dec. 30).

It's really neat I got one for my 7-year-old and 11-year-old and they both think that it is super cool. My 11-year-old son said he's never seen anything like that before. When it loses battery it stops sticking to the wall and you have to charge it takes a lot of power to run the fan to create gravity. Battery runs about 7 minutes when sticking to the wall. Due to the high speed of the fans it is loud and hair gets caught in the fan propellers you have to keep cleaning them.

not safe for younger kids! husband set it down teaching the 7 year old the controls when the 3 year old grabs the squealing car. Then 3 year old is squealing in pain and blood running down his hand. his finger got caught in the blade. while holding pressure and soothing him, the 7 year old grabs the car off the wall and then he comes in the kitchen with blood running down *his* hand too because he also got clipped by the blade and has a chunk missing from his finger.

Gravity Rover – Disappointing Performance Right Out of the Box
Unboxed the Gravity Rover with high expectations, but it failed to deliver. Despite a full charge and going through all recommended troubleshooting steps, the rover did not climb or maneuver on walls or the ceiling as advertised. It remained grounded, functioning more like a standard floor RC car—if that. The suction mechanism appears weak or non-functional. Build quality seemed okay, but that’s about the only positive. Returned it after multiple failed attempts. Disappointed overall.
