I had one issue installing the lock with the screws to the back latch getting tight so I called a locksmith and he used a drill to tighten the screws and that worked fine.

I feel so secure with it in place, and cannot emphasize enough how easy it was to connect the lock to my phone. The interface is easy to use, and the lock itself is very high-quality and I’m certain it’ll last years to come. Also, the looks of the lock are great with the rest of my front entrance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought one Schlage Encode first just to see if it was worth the price, and after a little over three months I ended up buying two more for other doors in my house. I live in Arizona, so doors do not always fit exactly the same year-round. Between the dry weather and occasional humidity, they can get a little tight. This lock has handled that well. It is smooth, easy to use, and I like that it lets us know if the door is not fully closed instead of acting like it locked. We were also able to give a family member a code while we were away so they could pick up a bookcase, and we got notified when they came and left. That gave us a lot of confidence in it.
