Not great, but useful
Sound is missing dimension, throwing a bass and tweeters in a box doesn’t make for the best sound. You meed a mid range and a way to adjust all of them individually.

Sound quality is great
Love the sound quality and the slim profile of the bar. My only issue is maintaining the Wi-Fi connection so I can use the Q Symphony setting. However, it works really well just using a Bluetooth connection.

Thin & Powerful!
So much power from such a thin and slim sound bar! Very impressed! It was super easy to set up and connect with my tv. The subwoofer connected on its own and provide even more depth to the sound. Highly recommend!

Small frame, affordable, but powerful sound bar
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently installed the S-Series Soundbar HW-S700D in my bedroom, and I’m seriously impressed. The soundbar is small enough to conceal easily, which keeps my space looking clean and uncluttered, but don’t let the size fool you—this thing delivers powerful sound with excellent clarity. Voices come through crisp and clear, so I’m not missing a single detail in movies or shows anymore. Installation and setup were incredibly simple, which was a huge plus. In just a few minutes, I had everything connected and ready to go. For such a compact soundbar, the performance is outstanding. Highly recommend!

At just 35″ wide and only ~1.5″ high, it tucks neatly under a large TV without obstructing the screen or dominating the shelf. The low-profile silhouette blends seamlessly into the living room décor, making it an excellent choice for those who want better sound without bulk. The included wireless subwoofer keeps wiring minimal, which is a big plus. Sound-wise, the 3.1-channel configuration (left, centre, right plus subwoofer) delivers a substantial upgrade over standard TV speakers. Dialogue comes through clearly — the centre channel keeps voices anchored and distinct, and overall tonal balance is strong. The inclusion of Dolby Atmos adds perceptible height and immersion: during movie playback the overhead cues, especially in action scenes, were more credible than I expected for a 3.1 setup. The wireless “Dolby Atmos via WiFi” feature means less cable clutter and is particularly convenient for a tidy installation. For connectivity and features, this unit impresses: HDMI eARC support, built-in Chromecast, AirPlay 2, voice assistant integration, and Samsung’s Q-Symphony mode (for pairing with a compatible Samsung TV) all work well.
