Bose smart ultra soundbar

I have had this for approx 2 weeks and still experimenting with it however it has great audio level responses by itself. The bass is impressive as a stand alone device. In arctic white, it blends into my decor seamlessly. I will get the surround speakers and bass module later to complete the outstanding set to replace my old Bose Acoustimass setup.

Awesome sound quality

I bought Arc Ultra Soundbar and I would say the sound quality is awesome; however from my perspective, a woofer is needed if you really want cinematic sound quality.

Good not great!

I bought the sound bar about a month ago and while it's good, I'm not sure it's great yet. A couple of reasons I I don't think it's great are: the surround sound is inconsistent and at times doesn't even seem to be working and since the unit does not come with a sub-woofer (and even though I have one, it's not compatible with Boise products) there are times when the sound seems tinny. I'm disappointed that I haven't experienced that WOW sound that I have gotten from other Boise products.

Great addition to any tv.

Bought this three weeks ago , love it. I Wish it would of come with longer USB, optical, and speaker cables, but works great, sounds fantastic. Would buy again.

Amazing Sound Quality

The smart Ultra soundbar is awesome. Not even had it for a week and love it already. The tv channel are so clear and the AI sound control for speech and music combined is superb. We used to have a Bose Solo which was brilliant, but this is another level. Films and music sound incredible especially as we’ve paired it with a bass unit plus a pair of surround sound speakers. The system itself was easy to set up with the Bose app and also easy to pair with our phones etc. The system itself was not exactly cheap but well worth the outlay. We had our Boss Solo for 12 yrs so we see this as an investment in our home entertainment for the next decade or so.

I bought ultra sound bar and felt th sound quality was not what I expected because my initial take was it would be very good but I was kind of bit disappointed actually with surround music which was very low.The voices were clear that was an added advantage.

Wow - what sound!

After conducting a number of reviews and searches, speaking with family and friends, I purchased the Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar together with the Bose 700 Base Sub-woofer. The sound experience is amazing, so easy to set up and use. High Recommended.

Great Sound really Impressed

Had this for about 2-3 weeks. Really easy set up Great sound. I’ve added the Bass Module 500 and 2 Surround speakers and loving it. I have a 55” LG Tv in a 16’x13’ lounge in an end terrace house. AI dialogue mode spot on.

The best!

I always wanted a Bose soundbar but didn't feel I could afford the luxury. I was wrong. The sound produced is better than the credit I ever gave it. It is worth every penny I spent. When it went on sale Bose found my price point evidently, because I bought the whole package. Now my room is filled with sound beyond my expectations. This is not my first soundbar but it is my best. I look forward to learning more about it as I enjoy the full rich sound it delivers. Highly recommend you go for it!

Great Soundbar

I have been a fan of Bose for many years, going all the way back to my Acoustimass 10 system! (Which I still have.) Unfortunately I strayed for a while with another manufacturer, but now I am back to the Bose fold again. Let me first say that I bought the Ultra Soundbar, the Bass Module 700 and the Bose Surround Speakers. All the products came in packaging that I could almost see as being almost Bomb-proof! Obviously that is silly, but suffice to say that the products were all in VERY SECURE packaging! Once I got everything out and set up, firing up the Bose App on my iPhone made the rest pretty easy. I did have one minor issue wherein one of the Surround speakers seemed to not register first time through. This in turn caused the ADAPTiQ calibration to fail, and the error messages were a tad confusing. ("I didn't hear anything" followed by a message that something was wrong with the ADAPTiQ headset and to contact Bose.) I went through the setup in the iPhone App a second time, found the "missing" Surround speaker and continued a second time, and all was well. (The Soundbar is connected to my new LG G5 OLED tv via the HDMI - eARC connection; the Sub is wired via a cable and of course the Surrounds are wireless.) After calibrating I tested a variety of programming sources, and am happy to say that everything sounds OUTSTANDING. Movies, music (either via Bluetooth or Apple AirPlay), basically whatever I'm listening to has that familiar Bose quality to it. I have been listening about a week now and have not yet undertaken ANY customizations to the sound output, other than enabling the AI Dialog mode. And I can say that it does work - quite well! As I'm writing this, I have just finished watching the movie Star Trek - First Contact (via Amazon Prime/Paramount+) and since I was home alone at the time, I chose to crank up the volume to what other family members would likely consider unacceptable levels! This Bose speaker combination did not disappoint in the least. There was absolutely NO DISTORTION anywhere and the bass output from the Sub was quite respectable. And again, I have not yet messed with ANY customizations. My living room is fairly large, and of an odd shape/configuration, having no real back wall, so the fact that everything came out of the speakers just fine is all the more impressive. I won't say that this was an inexpensive undertaking, but given the upgrade in sound quality and ambience I'm now getting, it will have been worth it in the end. I am happy to report here that virtually all the speakers I have now (this setup in the living room, master bedroom - soundbar 600 & base module 500, as well as a Soundlink Mini that I use at bedtime) are all Bose. I you are now, or have even been, on the fence about purchasing Bose speakers, I highly recommend them to you.

Probably a great product, but setup/support fail.

I had issues with the setup and eventually had to restore to factory settings based on a You Tube recommendation. The software initially failed an update and locked up making the sound bar inoperable. I also needed an extra part for the mounting kit and found there is no support or way to order. The agentic chat is virtually useless and very frustrating. I sent a note in via the 'contact us' route and I have received no response after two week. Regarding sound...it is good, but I my frustration is actually lo louder and more focused.

Fabulous sound!

Replaced my Soundbar 600 as it was constantly plagued with connection issues. The Ultra is much better (although not all of the ARC/CEC capabilities still don't work with my Sony Bravia) BUT, simple connectivity works and the sound is awesome!
