Q-tips Cotton Swabs, Family Pack, 2 Pack, 500 Swabs Each

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Q-Tips have multiple uses. I find a way to use them daily. Most people use them to clean ears, but I also use them to touch up makeup, clean the house, and make art!

I am upset and confused why my qtips puff's start to shreds when I cleaned my ears...I normally not one to complain but the quality of this is in my opinion are substandard unlike the qtips I have bought thru the years

These are declining in quality. They used to be stronger and fuller of cotton. I'm disappointed in the last box I bought. They bend with the slightest amount of pressure.

Terrible product, there is no cotton on these anymore!

Three purchases in a row now with this product and the same lack of quality in each. A majority of the cotton swabs only have cotton on one end, just the stick on the other. One would think that the quality control department or a in-process robotic visual inspection would catch these rejects before they made it into the packaging. Disappointed with my latest purchase once again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Qtips are always superior to the generic brands. They've been a mainstay in my household since I was a child. They have plenty of cotton and are not weak. That's the only brand we use.

Could you put more cotton on these sticks. Is there a world cotton shortage? Mabe if they were made in America instead of Turkey the quality would not be so poor. I hope your product could improve before I shop for a different brand. Or is Unilever the only supplier if cotton tip swabs in the world and wont care what the consumer feels about this type of product.

The quality of QTIPS has drastically declined. I’ve been buying these for over fifty years and I’m so disappointed in a product that I use daily. What happened?

This used to be the only cotton swabs I bought because of the strong stick now they bend in your ear. Not good! I can buy the cheaper ones if they are going to just bend in my ear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Q-Tips are the OG cotton swab. They’re perfect at what they do and a household staple with hundreds of uses. I much prefer the standard swabs over the generic ones with the plastic sticks. These are far better for the environment and less likely to snap and poke you. The only downside is that my most recent box had several defective swabs that were missing one of the ends. I’m surprised because they typically have excellent quality.

"Q" might have stood for quality years ago, but not anymore. Quality does not seem to be the priority. My household has gone through 3 different 625 count boxes of Q-tips the past couple years and the quality of the Q-tips brand Q-tips are now no better than the Dollar General or Dollar store brand products. The cotton swabs are inconsistently made from one to another and have loose cotton, not enough cotton, too much cotton, it shreds or pulls away from the stick, and the sticks bend easily and are not as strong as they used to be even 5 years ago. My family has been using Q-tip brand Q-tips for over 100 years, but I can no longer justify spending extra money for these over cheaper off brand swabs.

The product is hard to figure out how to open and needs a good diagram where RO open.

Possibly hyperbolic, but I can confidently say these will last my family a long time. Q-tips were one of the first products I remember deciding that name brand was essential for quality. I find that Q-tip brand have a softer feel and the cotton on the end of the product more completely coats the stick and is unlikely to fall off during use. I've used off-brand imitations where the cotton just falls away as soon as you get it wet, and that is not the case for Q-tip. When it comes to cleaning hard to reach places or removing the inevitable mascara smear under my eyes because I blinked too soon after applying mascara, Q-tip is what I reach for!

We even use them when we're painting. So, having a ton of them on hand is pretty much a must-have at my house. We love and use them, and I think they're more durable than the generic ones.

They are super absorbant and the right size. The multi-pack is great for our family of 5. The box is easy to open.

Why are Q-Tips such poor quality lately? They used to literally be the best, gold standard cotton swab. Have used them for years to clean my ears daily. In the last year or so, the sticks are more bendy and there is noticeably less cotton on the tips. The cotton on the tips is usually loose and not nice and tightly wound. This leaves more scratchy stick at the tip to scratch or injure your ear or whatever you are cleaning with it. They are just all around sloppier and not as well made. Companies should be ashamed of themselves for selling inferior quality products at an inflated price. Why don't companies make product they can be proud of anymore? Don't you want to be the best at what you make? Have pride in your product? I hate the world we live in now.

Just bought the second box of 500 Q-Tips cotton swabs. I had hopes this box would be the quality that Q-Tips was known for. Nope, they are flimsy and roll under any pressure. There is nothing left that separates Q-Tips from the generic brands except the price. Hopefully, someone got a big promotion for cutting production cost.
