Pregmate pregnancy tests detect human pregnancy hormone in urine.
The accuracy of home pregnancy test results vary from woman to woman. Each woman ovulates at a different time in her menstrual cycle. The average implantation time is 9 days past ovulation. It takes 2 or 3 days after implantation for the embryo to make enough hormone for a home pregnancy test to work. Q: Are these as reliable as the test sticks? I just can't believe the price... 50 tests for $16 whereas 3 test sticks are $10? Whats the catch?

A: Yes, they are. These have a 99% chance of getting an accurate result.
submitted byTargetShopper - 1 year agoA: These are accurate and very minimal. The tests are small and don't have the extra plastic edges that the normal ones have. Personally I prefer these little ones. Accurate and less waste.

Q: Can you pee directly on these?

A: No, urine may be collected in any clean, dry plastic or glass container. Then remove the test strip from the sealed pouch, immerse the strip into the urine with the arrow pointing towards the urine, and take the strip out after 5 seconds.

Do not buy! Has caused so much confusion. Gives very clear false positives. Dipped into same urine and got a clear positive and clear negative. With other brands, it was a clear negative. Has caused so much heartache and confusion.

False Positive and Unreliable
Have been using these while nursing since I am not experiencing a cycle at the moment. These are convenient but I did get a false positive. Some don't work all the way which feels unreliable at times.

Not sensitive enough for TTC
Buying pregnancy tests in bulk is a great idea for those trying to conceive and going through many, but these don’t pick up hcg until there is 25 mL/u. I can’t find this printed anywhere on the front or back of the product- these aren’t sensitive, and might not be accurate until the day of your missed period, at which point you don’t need 50 of these to tell you you’re pregnant. If you’re hoping to catch an early line, or track line progression because this won’t turn positive until your period is almost due, I don’t recommend these. If you’re a school counselor who wants tests on deck in bulk, then it’s a great value.

Better than First Response Test Strips!
Used both the ovulation strips and pregnancy strips and loved them! The pregnancy strips gave me much darker results than my First Response tests (and they were accurate to boot)! Used about 2 per day to make sure the tests were consistent until I was sure of the results. would definitely recommend these, but if you're prone to worrying, take them two at a time to verify that one isn't defective (which personally I've never had a defective but know they happen).

Amazing product
Reliable and very affordable! I used these test when I was trying to get pregnant. And even when I finally did, I honestly kept using them days after because I just wanted to track myself and make sure that I was still pregnant. Of course, that was just me worrying however these tests were very affordable and I knew that I could take multiple ones and just keep buying the big packs again. Overall, I had an amazing experience and I highly recommend them.
