Luteinizing Hormone is one of the hormones produced by the pituitary gland. It is secreted at very low levels throughout your menstrual cycle. Once a developing egg follicle reaches a certain size, LH secretion surges to high levels. This hormone surge is what triggers ovulation about 24 to 48 hours later. Your LH surge is important because it initiates the beginning of ovulation.
Ovulation is the release of a mature egg from the ovary. It signals the beginning of your fertile period. A positive result indicates the presence of a high amount of LH or LH surge. The amount of LH in your body will begin to decrease after ovulation, so you’ll only get a positive result during that crucial fertile period. Once the egg is released, it is only viable for about 24 hours. After that your fertile window is over. This makes it very important to be able to identify this best time to conceive.
Ovulation may be irregular because of conditions, emotions and other factors in your life. You can’t presume that ovulation always occurs at the same time after menstruation. Therefore, you should test again in each menstrual cycle.
How to do the test?
-Dip the strip into the urine for 3-5 seconds.
-Lay the strip flat.
-Read results in 5 minutes.

Q: How early can the pregnancy strips detect that you’re pregnant? Can they be used a few days before expected period or should they be used after missed period?

A: Hello! You may test up to 5 days before your missed period (that is, 4 days before the day you expect your period). Because hCG levels vary by person and can be low early on, an early negative does not rule out pregnancy. If you test early and get a Negative, wait 48 hours and test again.

My go-to tracking tool
I have been using these test strips all year, since last year. It has been surprisingly easy and effective. It was accurate when I got pregnant last year and I was glad I had them on hand. Way more affordable in bundles and helps get a better understanding about your ovulation process when tracking. Will continue to use since we are trying to get pregnant again! And using the app with it is also very helpful and easy!

Worked right away!
My husband and I had been trying for months to get pregnant with no luck because I was ovualting later than the app I was using at the time predicted. Easy and Helpful
This is a very simple and easy to use product. The directions are clear on how to use the strips and the amount of time to wait to read. There is also an app that you can track all the tests and your period. The app even tells if you are ovulating or not, or getting close so you don't have to guess yourself based on the darkness of the lines. I would buy these again!
