It's just like the other similar types of toys, sings the same little tune and scurries around. But this thing is speedy!! I was hoping that it would stay in the cute acorn it's packaged in but it's not, sigh. My 2yo loves this and thinks it's the funniest thing ever, so I'd say that was worth the $10!

Your kids will probably like it?
It’s an okay toy, my kids love the Pets Alive stuff & I guess that’s all that matters. It essentially makes noises, spins around & rolls around. (literally sounds & moves exactly like all the other small Pets Alive critters…would be nice to see more creativity in that department) If you read the very tiny instructions it does indeed say that to turn it on & off you have to stroke its head. Yes, you would think it would come with batteries but alas, read the tiny writing to know that it does not. The plastic ball is not functional like with the Pets Alive hamsters, which is kind of a bummer but I guess that’s why they added a plastic acorn on top…implies that it’s just a vessel, I guess?
