Q: Does this toy actually emit ultra violet light? Or is the product description in this context pseudoscientific?

A: The resin requires UV to set. If the light is intended to be used to set the resin (as it says it is), then it does emit ultraviolet light. Which kind, I can’t say.

Light never worked
Santa brought this as a gift, but the light doesnt work, so that is difficult to navigate... We tried different batteries but no go. It's now out of stock so I can't even attempt some sort of exchange. The fridge is cute and they'll enjoy using it, but defintely a let down.

Something Wrong with Electric Components
I wish this was just a display item and didn't try to do any sort of lighting. There's something wrong with the electrical connection between the batteries and the lights. I've bought new batteries to try to fix it, but it works for only a second, then fades. It's cute as just a storage item and that's all my daughter thought it was until she opened it and the light came on. Now something that should have just been cute storage for her minibrands is a broken toy instead.

Light does not cure resin
This is cute but the UV light DOES NOT CURE anything. We’ve had their projects in the fridge for hours and they have not cured. Better to put the projects in the sun than rely on the UV light.
