A: Croy, thank you for the question. Our upper arm monitors, including the 7 Series, are not intended for use by individuals with implanted pacemakers or defibrillators. This is noted across our current instruction manuals for similar models with the same measurement technology, including the BP5360 and BP5465. Your cardiologist should confirm what is safe for your specific leadless device. Q: Does health insurance cover(pay) for this product?

A: Hi Alex, most health insurance plans do not cover over-the-counter blood pressure monitors like the OMRON Series 7. However, some Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Accounts (HSA) may reimburse the cost. It’s best to check directly with your insurance provider or FSA/HSA administrator to confirm eligibility.
I am unable to use this device because I have been diagnosed with AFib which is controlled with medication, however, the model 7 displays a "possible AFib" notice and will not display blood pressure or pulse readings.

Test at Doctor's office.
Had high readings. Took it to my Doctor's office. Nurse took my BP as usual. 130 0ver 85 and other arm, 132 over 88. We then used my zOmron and it read 164 over 110. Stiff cuff could be the culprit...

Error codes right and left!
On day 1, it gave me 3 readings, then I have nothing but error codes. The 3 readings weren't even accurate! For the price, you would think it would at least be reliable. Returning as soon as I get the box from home.

It Works As Expected
The product works exactly as I would hope it would operate. The only concern I have is the lack of a power cord, so the product has to operate off four AA batteries, which are included, unless you purchase a power cord separately.
