Great product for people on a budget
I really liked this shampoo. It's a great drugstore product at a great price. It lathers really nice which is a hit or miss for me. I started using this shampoo in combination with the matching conditioner about two or three months ago. It leaves my hair feeling cleansed, soft, and shiny. I have straight black hair. I've had people ask me if I've recently dyed my hair because it looks so black and shiny. The newest addition to my hair routine is this shampoo and the conditioner so I think that's what's made the difference. I only wish they would expand their scent line. Their signature scent isn't bad, but it's not my favorite.

I hated this product. It doesn’t make me feel clean right out of the shower. My hair can usually go 3-4 days before getting noticeably greasy, but at most it would get greasy with this shampoo after 2 days. After running my hands or my brush through my hair, I felt a waxy residue on my fingers. Also made my scalp smell, has no nice scent. Made my hair dry, almost crunchy.

Tames frizzy hair
As someone with puffy THICK wavy hair this product is my holy grail. Discovered it and haven't turned back. My hair has been looking very tame, smooth, sleek, less puffy, etc. I love it.

Years and years of hair issues solved! Ditch the hair products
I am in shock! I've used Oribe, Redken, Aveda, Purology and all the expensive and cheap brands to no avail to fix my dry frizzy and damaged looking hair. I thought I was going to need to splurge to buy a filtered shower head and new blow dryer but before I did, I found this spectacular shampoo! I air dried my hair and it's illustrious, soft, shiny and bouncy like it has not been in 20 years or so. What?! AND I just went from brunette to blonde with box color lol, so believe me when I say this is an incredible shampoo that's value and quality cannot be beat. I sure hope this line stays around forever and formula stays 💯 the same!! Extra points for good ingredients!👏👏👏

No deal odele
Didn’t smooth my hair and I bought the shampoo and conditioner to treat the frizz. Seemed worse and harder to style even with blow out not worth it

All Odele products are free from SLES + SLS sulfates, and as a result, our shampoos may not lather as much (or in the same way) as you are used to. That being said, all our shampoos (except for our Curl Defining No-Lather Shampoo) have a luxurious lather when used correctly. For the best results, we recommend rubbing the shampoo in your hands, adding water until you get a nice lather, then applying it to sopping wet hair. Give this a try and let us know how it works for you!

Not for my hair/scalp I guess
My experience with the clarifying shampoo was great, and I've been in the market for a simple daily shampoo to alternate with my (effective, but not super nice) dandruff shampoo. On first use it lathered nicely and made my hair look and feel great - I could even easily comb through it without conditioner or curl cream. But after multiple consecutive washes I noticed my scalp was starting to feel sorta itchy and —údirty—ù like it does if I've gone a couple days without shampooing. My scalp is oily and I have naturally —úsilky—ù low porosity hair, but its also thick and wavy so its hard to find products that manage frizz and tangles without making it feel heavy and greasy - i saw pretty mixed customer reviews across all the shampoos about how drying or moisturizing they were, so I kinda just picked the one that had pictures and reviewers that seemed to match my hair type lol. Kind of a bummer that the travel sizes aren't more readily available in stores but I get it.

Thanks for sharing your review with us. It sounds like swapping for something that has a lower moisture level might be a better fit for you and your hair. We would recommend swapping for the Volumizing Shampoo or even using the Clarifying Shampoo, once a week!

Causes Hair Loss
I really thought I loved this initially, but after using a different shampoo and then returning to this, I realize it causes my hair to fall out. So disappointing.
