Q: How thick of a mattress will it fit reaching around the bottom edge?
A: The description states 12in.

We typically state that it fits up to 12" mattress sidewall depth but with the botttom edge elastication, you should be good with mattress depths up to 14 inches. Hope that helps. PROTECTEASE TEAM

Q: can this product be washed in the washing machine?
A: Hello Ann - Thank you for your interest and purchase of our ProtectEase NexGen Fitted mattress protector! Our product was designed as a "wipe clean with a damp cloth" product and is waterproof. It can be washed if needed with other linens, cold wash and TUMBLE air dry ( non-heat). However, washing should not be needed as a wipe clean with damp cloth fabric. But it is actually possible to machine wash on delicate cycle warm water, then line dry (or fluff dry no heat). Too much heat will damage the waterproof film.

Q: what are the cotton and polyester percentages?
A: This product is made with NexGen(r) fabric, which is neither cotton nor polyester, but a multilayer protective Polyolefin fabric.

It allows for Waterproof protection, while being soft and discreet. Q: Can we spray this material with disinfectant without ruining the material?
A: Hello.... Thank you for your interest in our ProtectEase NexGen Mattress protector. To answer your question, we do not recommend spaying with a disinfectant spray as we are not certain if it will affect the fabric protection. However, we do recommend using warm water with soap to clean and wipe with a damp cloth. This product was developed to be a clean and wipe with a damp cloth. Q: How does it protect from bedbugs if it doesn't have a zipper?

Q: what material is this made out of?
A: Good question! The NexGen fabric is a non-woven polyolefin fabric. So it is constructed with all manmade synthetic "fibers". It is a composite that was designed to be lightweight, yet protective and waterproof at an Economical price. Hope that helps! Regards, SeamSeal Team

Q: Does this protector have a like a vinyl or other material on the top of the cover?
