I followed the directions exactly as they were written, but several of the interiors of the pillow protectors stuck together -- melted. They are smaller than I had expected, and make the pillow feel harder. They are also noisy -- they crackle.

I like that it helps with allergies especially because I really needed this! My allergist recommended I get these, and it’s been helpful for sure! My only complaint is that it makes pillows less soft, and it’s not as quiet because it has a sort of rougher material because of the waterproof feature of it. You put a regular pillowcase over it but it still is noticeable that my pillow is not as soft as without the pillowcase protector on it.

Hmmmmm....
Not sure if these are the same ones from a few years ago that I bought, but they feel more stiff and plasticky. I have washed them numerous amount of times and they’re just okay. Makes your pillow “non breathable” at times.

This pillow cover is not waterproof. The cover was soaked in pee and so was the pillow inside it. Would not recommend as a waterproof cover.

We have used these protectors on all our pillows and mattresses for a few years now. Not once had an issue. My one daughter gets bloody noses occasionally especially during the winter and I can easily pull off the pillow cover and pop it in the washer/dryer. Comes out just fine and spotless again!

Made pillow too hot and sweaty
I have really bad allergies and thought it would be good to get pillow protectors because I prefer down pillows. It was a little plastic/crunchy feeling. It also kind of traps air in the pillow case so it changes how your pillow feels. The worst part was that somehow they made the pillow really hot and I got super sweaty. I tried it for 2 nights before I stopped using it. I did wash and dry it first and did not have problems with it melting together as other people have mentioned. Not sure if it is actually waterproof or not.

Did not protect brand new pillow. Protector on same day bought pillow and surprise surprise it's not waterproof nor pee proof because everything smells horrible. Disgusted I gave trust into this product.
