Great family fun!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 for the Nintendo Switch and have put in a few hours playing with my 7-year-old son, and we’ve had a blast with it. This game delivers exactly what it promises: fun, arcade-style basketball that’s easy to pick up and entertaining for both kids and adults. The graphics are solid for the Switch, with colorful, exaggerated character designs that give it that over-the-top arcade feel. The gameplay is fast-paced and exciting, with crazy dunks and three-pointers that keep things energetic. My son absolutely loves it, and the controls are simple enough that he can jump right in without getting frustrated. Playing together in multiplayer mode has been the highlight for us. It’s one of those games where we can have quick matches without a huge time commitment, making it perfect for family gaming sessions. The arcade style means it’s more about fun than strict NBA simulation, which works great for younger players. My only complaint is that the game could use more variety in game modes to keep things fresh long-term. After several hours, we’re already looking for more ways to play beyond the standard matches and tournaments available. Overall, this is a solid purchase for families looking for a fun basketball game that parents and kids can enjoy together. If you have young NBA fans at home, this is definitely worth considering. It was a little buggy at times when it was loading as it would send me to the main screen. I love getting to customize my own characters as well. The game overall was amazing and super fun! The graphics’s are great and the challenges just keep you playing ! I highly recommend this to those that love playing ball

The controls are simple enough to pick up instantly, even after a long break from gaming, and the gameplay is smooth and satisfying. It’s the kind of game you turn on “just for a few minutes” and end up playing for an hour without realizing. The graphics are clean, the animations feel lively, and the bounce mechanics make it different from the usual basketball games. It’s perfect for casual play, but still challenging enough that you actually want to improve your score every time. If you want something light, enjoyable, and addicting without being too complicated, NBA Bounce PS4 is honestly a great pick. Loved it! 🏀💥

My only minor complaint is not being able to use a single Joycon controller. So that limits to only 2 players for my family of 5 to take turns on. The tutorial helps you get started. The controls are not complex at all which is why having to use a left and right together to play for each person is such a bummer

Fun game!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first, my 8 year old was not impressed with this game. It was very hard for him to remember what buttons do what, and he felt the computer generated players were too hard. After playing it over a few days, he got to where he really enjoys it now! He’s finally getting the hang of it, and he loves how he always gets to be in control of the ball. Now it’s hard for him to put down. I’ve played it a few times as well, and it took a while for me to get the hang of it too, but once I did, it’s a lot of fun! It wasn’t buggy, and played flawlessly with the original update/download. Overall, there is definitely a learning curve, so keep that in mind for younger children, but we would definitely recommend it!

The controls are simple and responsive, so it’s easy to jump right in, and the 3-on-3 gameplay stays fast and entertaining. It runs smoothly too, with no stutters or microtransactions, which I really appreciate. That said, it’s definitely a stripped-down experience. The graphics are basic, and the game doesn’t include real NBA players—just team logos, mascots, and customizable avatars. It’s enjoyable, but it doesn’t have the depth or excitement of something like NBA Jam. Hopefully the update will come with more characters and more PvP mode or even online multiplayer. Overall, I’d say it’s a good pick for kids or anyone who wants a light, easy basketball game, but not the big arcade comeback I was hoping for.
