Q: Does these work with old controllers
A: They do not even physically fit. Definitely not compatible with old Joy Cons.

Q: Will these work with the original Nintendo Switch?
A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con 2 Wheel (set of 2) No, the Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con 2 Wheel (released June 2025) cannot be used with the original Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons. The Joy-Con 2 for the Switch 2 is significantly larger than the original Joy-Cons. Because of this, original controllers will not fit securely in the wheel housing—they are too small to reach the buttons or be held in place.
