Love ❤️
When my little girl started sleeping in her own bed I had to buy display so I had a bigger clear screen right next to my bed for peace of mind. Video is super clear and sound is loud so you can hear them. This is great to have next to you where ever you are in our house to watch your little one.

Totally worth it
My husband and I loved the screen so much we bought a second. The features are great- our little one especially enjoys the sleep sounds.

Was expecting more
I am surprised with the poor battery life and the technology being so behind for a new product. Nanit system is great in general and the app on the phone has been easy and good to work with. I expected the same from the nanit home but have found that it constantly dies or needs to be plugged into a power source, has trouble connecting to wifi after it dies and doesn’t easily adjust the screen brightness for different room lighting. Would love to see a better product so we don’t need to rely on our personal phones to use the nanit system properly.

Battery issues
While the home display is an extremely convenient tool to have for the grandparents to have access to the camera when babysitting, the battery life on this unit is terrible. In the matter of an hour I lose 30-40% even while only listening to the background noise. I love the design and how fast shipping was for us and will continue to use this and make sure we have a charger close by at all times.

Love Having a Dedicated Screen
We’ve been really happy with the Home 8” Display so far. The setup was simple, video quality is clear, and the display gives us a lot of peace of mind as first-time parents. We especially like having a dedicated screen instead of always checking our phones. Overall it feels reliable, easy to use, and well designed for everyday use.

Review
I like the display and not having to only use my phone to monitor my baby. I don’t like how many updates it needs, it seems to need one every other night. But otherwise, the clarity is great along with the easy to use volume and brightness controls.

Great investment
I’ve had Nanit monitors for both of my kids. After this came out I knew I needed to try it out. Super smooth, split screen for both cameras at once. I would highly recommend!

Love This Monitor - Wish They Made Sooner
I LOVE the display monitor. I wish it came out when my daughter was first born! My mother in law watches my daughter a few times a week and needs a monitor. We were fighting with a cheap one because we didn’t want to give her access to the full app version. The monitor is perfect for the days she babysits and she loves it. It’s also perfect for the days that I need my phone and want to watch my daughter too. Definitely recommend if others watch your kid but you don’t want to give everyone access to the app!

Best Purchase for your baby!
Absolutely love our Nanit Home Display. It’s the perfect companion to the Nanit app and honestly feels like a must-have for any Nanit family. Being able to quickly glance at a dedicated 8” screen without constantly opening my phone has been a game changer, especially during naps and overnight wakeups. The video quality is crystal clear, the audio is reliable, and I love having instant access to my baby’s feed from anywhere in the house. It gives all the convenience of a traditional monitor while still working seamlessly with the Nanit app’s amazing sleep insights, notifications, and tracking features. What really makes this setup stand out is how the display complements the app instead of replacing it. The app is still incredible for detailed sleep data and on-the-go monitoring, while the Home Display makes everyday check-ins so much easier and less distracting. If you already have a Nanit monitor, the Home Display is 100% worth adding. Total peace of mind and convenience in one device!

Not worth it at all
Battery life isn’t great, and it has randomly been turning our camera off. I’d rather have spent the money on a tablet with more utility and just used the app.

Glad we have this!
Love having this screen so that we are not tied to our phones. My only complaint is how quickly it dies. I like to leave the brightness up while we are monitoring so that we can glance over at anytime and see our baby and their stats. The nanit home really only lasts about 2-3 hours before dying if it's not plugged in.

It isn't the greatest
First of all, like most baby cameras the monitor should be included with the camera. With that said, this thing literally has to do a 30 min update every other day! It has done two 30 min updates in one day TODAY! Its so annoying because the update pops up as soon as you turn it on when you need to actually use the monitor to watch you baby, so then you are forced to use your phone again. The first couple times it allows you to select update later, but after a handful of time it forces you to update which again sucks when you need it to keep an eye on your baby. The battery life on this thing sucks! It can be fully charge and will die within his 1. 2-2 hour nap. . at this point we just keep it plugged in. We got this because we wanted something portable to take room to room unlike google hub or the echo show that has to stay stationary and plugged in. We are able to do that with this, however we have to always make sure we have a charging cord in each room. I kinda regret getting the first model but my parents were getting frustrated having to keep their phones on the monitor when they were watching him

Bare Minimum
Feels like Nanit rushed to produce a screen after complaints of not offering one. Software feels cheap and constantly get update alerts (almost daily). Battery life isn’t great. Having Bluetooth backup would make Nanit worth the price

Worth it
The home display is worth the money. I was getting tired of using my phone and didn’t have an iPad or spare device to use. This was a great solution to being able to watch my baby. The only downside is the battery life. It drains really fast, but it does last almost a full day off the charger
