Description

This Monoprice Commercial Series Full‑Motion Articulating TV Wall Mount Bracket allows you to adjust your TV for the most comfortable viewing angle, no matter where you choose to sit. Q: does this hold a TCL 65 inch LED 4K UHD tv?

  • A: Hello Mari, After I checked the details of your TCL 65". It says it has a 200x200 VESA pattern and it has 31.1 lbs. It will not work with this TV wall mount as it can only support a minimum of 300x200 VESA pattern.

Perfect

I've purchased two of these mounts in the last couple of months. I have a 55 in and a 65 in TV that I needed to swivel and this is perfect. It was very easy to install because it included all the bolts/screws plus extras. It looks clean behind the TV.

Overall it?s a very solid mount - improving the plastic drywall anchors , and elongating the slots in the mounting plate would help

Positives - Very solid mount - wall template was helpful - plugs and caps gave the mount a very clean look when complete. Assembly was easy Negatives - plastic drywall anchors (when wall stud is not available ) spun in the wall and would not allow the lag bolt to secure. And mount is not slotted for sideway adjustments - this 6 bolt mounting plate forces you to choose and mark a location, but is not adjustable if tweaks are required to improve centering.

Careful mounting required

This is a solid mount with a wide range of movement L-R and F-B. However, the mounting can be somewhat problematic. The included mounting template does not match the actual mounting holes. The mount must be bolted into wall studs or solid concrete. The included bolts fit snugly in the mount holes so there is little to no room for installation adjustment or correction. The mount itself does allow for adjustment and TV movement. Careful planning must be taken to insure that the TV will be located where you want it. Mounting issues made this a four star for me.

Love it mount is very sturdy. Packing was awesome. Instructions were for once very easy to understand and follow. It even fame with a mounting template which came in very handy. Would most definitely recommend buying this TV mount especially from monoprice.com at their Fabulous Price.

Works great, very solid, and was very easy to install (but two 'glitches')! Two thoughts: 1. I needed to bend two parts of the hardware as they wouldn't have otherwise worked with my TV (LG 50", 50UN7300). @Monoprice I can provide photos, if you'd like. 2. It went on sale less than a week after I bought it for full price. That was frustrating and disappointing.

Didn't work for our 55" Toshiba

I don't know if it is because our TV is from 2015 but it should've worked with this mount based on its manual and the specs for this. The bar in the middle of the wall mount bracket was 3/16" too big for the brackets that attach the tv to the mount. So we couldn't put it up. Otherwise, it was easy to install and put on the wall and is sturdy. No doubt it would hold up a tv. If you are buying for an older or smaller tv just double check before you put big ol' holes in your walls. Now we are deciding if we try to find a different bracket or buy a new tv....

Good mount for the money with features in more expensive mounts.

Very nice mounts. One is for a new 58" TV and the other is for a 46" TV in the basement den. The tilt feature is nice and allowed just enough to adjust for glare from desk lights across the room. Very sturdy and well built.

Can't control rotation

There's ways to lock in the tilt and the lean but no way to control and lock in the rotation of the screen. I have a 65 inch TV and if its not perfectly balanced the TV will rotate slightly on its own. I'm going to Best Buy to get a better product. The installation instructions for this mount are sparse and don't include any detail on operation
