Well, it does the job, but it uses a threaded rod to lock in the television to the lower level of the bracket. The threaded rod isn't long enough to access without pulling the television so far out from the wall that the end of the rod is unable to slip in underneath the bracket lip as designed. I gave up. Since I don't live in an earth quake zone, should work anyways.

Worked great. I needed extra wall stud spacing over my fireplace and this did the job.

Worked for my older Sharp, however, I had to widen the holes to accept the screws that were needed for the TV. It also would have been nice if there was a horizontal(left/right) tilt adjustment. It is a very sturdy unit.

Solid. Confidently supports my 86" LCD. I like the price ??

Hung a 100lb+ 82" Samsung RU9000 TV with this and it is rock solid. No frills, just a good, solid mount.

This is the second I have ordered (two different flatscreens), the TV is really secure and the tilt adjustment is terrific. Not a big fan of the articulated kind that you can pull out from the wall or turn left/right, what I do care about is a secure mount and a good tilt. Holds my 75" TV & soundbar (80lbs) without complaint or worry.

Hands down the most robust heavy duty mount yet. Have a big tv this the mount, I easily grab 3 studs from the with of this thing.

This is the 4th wall mount I've purchased from Monoprice. I've never bought from anywhere else. Good quality at a good price and this one was no exception. Install went well and the TV looks great. Note, TV does not hang tight to the wall (low profile). At first I wasn't sure if I liked it, but it actually worked out better for my room to (slightly) reduce viewing distance. And, this makes it easier to reach cords and plug-ins on the back of the TV if needed, so that's a plus. The quick-release locking brackets on this mount were new to me, but I like them. You can hear them click when locked. And, should make removing the TV from the mount easy (no tools). If I have one complaint it's that the installation instructions are all pictures/illustrations and no words describing the steps. I had to study them a few times to make certain I understood what all of the little diagrams were telling you to do vs. NOT do. It would have been nice to have a description to go along with the pictures.

This is overkill of my 75" flatscreen, but if you have a heavy TV it would be perfect. But I have the ability to get a heavy TV if I want. It was very easy to install. I appreciate the template. I located the studs and best centered the plate. Installed the bolts inside and outside of where my TV mounts were and had a friend help me lift the TV. The TV sits basically right where we put it. No fear of it coming off. The TV can be tilted up to attach the cables and wires. Then brough back to the viewing angle. I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs it.

Overall a great bracket. It was easy to install with the hardware included. The only dislike was it does not have a built in level.

Good quality, sturdy mount. Needed due to stud location. However, if you are centering between 3 studs note the design of the middle of the mount bracket. You will have to offset the bracket slightly. Also, there is no way this would work with a 60”. My 65” barley covers the vertical brackets. Anything smaller would expose them. You’d have to mount a sound bar below to cover.

Perfect fit. Nice robust adjusting knobs to fix tv at the desired angle.

This thing was so easy to install. Works great with a 77" LG OLED TV

Great bargain and super strong. I mounted my 82" Samsung TV and the bracket system is perfect. I have it mounted high above a fireplace, so the tilt down is absolutely necessary for a good viewing experience. Instructions were more of a picture story, but it was simple to understand and I got the system up and mounted in under an hour. This is my second Monoprice TV mount, but I am sure it won't be my last. Highly recommend!

Used this to mount an 82 inch Samsung, worked like a champ! This thing is solid and I'm confident it'll hold my tv up with no problems for years to come!

Bought an 85” tv. Purchased this to mount it. Arrived next day, works as expected

Extremely pleased, well constructed and heavy duty, used it on a Samsung 75”, no problem, would definitely purchase another from Monoprice
