Excellent quality. Excellent value.

My family decided to upgrade our tv from a 42" model to a 65" model. The wall mount we had was not built to support a tv that big so I investigated what the best option is based on quality andon price. I talked to some colleagues at work who regularly hang tvs that size and bigger. Every one of them said the Monoprice is the their choice. I ordered one immediately and installed it on the wall and hung our new television on it. We are very pleased with the Monoprice. Easy to install and to hang a tv on. We could not be happier. Thanks!

Poorly designed mount

This is a poor replacement for the single piece wall mount bracket. Not only does it take longer to install due to assembly, you have to seriously watch to make sure the unit is straight. Won't buy again.

Assembly Required

Not a fan of how the mount has to be assembled. Much more complex and tedious compared to most mounts that have a one piece back plate. Gives the opportunity for it to not be assembled perfectly square or straight as well.

Not Very Good Design or Quality

The unit functions as it should. However, the steel is very thin and the unit comes in two parts which need to be screwed together to make the unit. If you are not meticulous, the unit will not be straight one assembled. I had to place mine on a flat surface when assembling to ensure this. If not straight, the tv will not hang straight. Also the clip on level (one inch long) which came with the unit is useless. I recommend using a standard level that is longer than one inch.

This mount comes in 3 pieces. You put it together. Assembly is pretty easy- the dimensions are 35 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches. It works!!!
