It’s a two-step process because the monopod is designed for standard cameras first. Where the GoPro Mount Connects The Quick Release Plate: On the very top of the monopod head, there is a removable plastic square (the QR plate). Flip the small lever on the side of the head to pop it off. The Screw: Look at the bottom of the GoPro adapter (the plastic piece with two "fingers"). It has a threaded hole. Screw the metal bolt from the QR plate into this hole until it's tight. The Click: Slide the QR plate (now with the GoPro adapter attached) back into the monopod head until it clicks locked. The Camera: Slide your GoPro’s "mounting fingers" into the adapter’s fingers and secure them with the long thumbscrew.
