These are a great alternative to the name brand at a much better price. Another reviewer indicated that a couple years ago the price of these was cheaper or about the same price, but there were three packs in the bundle. They they were halfway correct, there were three in the pack, but each roll had a lot less footage, for lack of a better word. These specific roles are a mega size that do fit in the standard Litter Genie, so in a sense you are getting more for the same price then you were a few years ago.

Not for cat litter
I cannot recommend this product. Every other time I go to change the bag, it splits and litter pours all over the floor. I am not filling them to full capacity. I learned my lesson the first time, but they still split..I am not sure what these knockoffs were designed to hold, but it definitely isn't kitty litter. How on Earth does this product have such a high rating?

Doesnt fit XL pail
Very disappointed that they changed this Up&Up product and now it doesn’t fit my Genie XL. They are too tall for the lid to snap back on. They also don’t lock in odor as well so they smell awful when changing it. I will be returning and purchasing from another company.

TLDR: each cartridge lasts me 2 months of twice daily scooping for 2 litter boxes/3 cats. Contains smell better than regular trash bags. I have the Litter Genie Ultimate, purchased from Target in Nov 2024 & these fit perfectly. For awhile, I had decided I didn’t want to spend the extra month on refills & just gerry-rigged regular trash bags in an empty cartridge. It technically works, but it doesn’t hold the smell at all. These refills contain the smell way better. I have 3 cats sharing 2 boxes, so I scoop twice a day & each cartridge lasts me about 2 months. It breaks down to about $5 per month, which is worth it to me!

I had some box liners but they were way too big. These fit perfectly The only thing is - maybe because my cats paw the side of the box, the edges fall inside and I have to pull them out and tuck them under. I finally cut some short lengths of electrical tape - problem solved!
