A: We recently changed our process so that if purchased brand-new from a verified seller, your product actually comes with the maximum manufacturer's warranty of two years! We recommend keeping a copy of your invoice (with the order ID and order details) as proof of purchase.

A: This air purifier has an average CADR of 135+ CFM, and a noise range of 27 - 52 dB. It will depend on your air quality, however we recommend replacing the filter after about 6-8 months. We hope this helps!

Game changer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best decision I've made in a long while!! We live on a dirt road and for the last couple years traffic has increased times ten (more dirt in the air). I have this little machine in our bedroom and after about three nights we noticed a huge difference in our quality of sleep. I'm so happy we have it. Maintenance is simple. Really love seeing the air quality levels as well. Looking forward to getting a couple more for the other parts of our home.

Short life - works well until the warranty's done
First of all, the unit is very effective at cleaning the air and removing odors; it is really amazing on how effective it is. The reason for the poor rating is because it has a short life. Our first one lasted about 3 years and then the electronics froze up, like so many others in the review section. Because I had already purchased new filters for it and in spite of it's short life span I purchased another one like it yesterday. I filled out the form to get the 2 year warranty and hope Levoit has fixed the chronic electrical issue. I think the warranty should be 5 years.

Work good, able to turn on lcd display to sleep
I loved the 131s air purifier it worked really good until it went out. I had 2 of them. Since April 2019 One worked for maybe 2.5 years the other for a week under 4 years this month it just went out. Turned it off by the button and then when I went to turn it on at night the button would not work. So I unplug it and plug it back in and none of the lights would work. Dead. Still going to purchase a couple of newer models.

Clean air in my house!

This air purifier has been great! I truly notice a difference in the house. I also love that you can control the unit from your phone. The app is easy to use and has great features.

intuitive and quiet

Especially since this has a hepa filter in it. the touch screen works super well, and I especially love the timer. I'll run this for a couple of hours before bed while I'm winding down getting ready for bed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty good and decent size purifier, a good match to our bedroom. It’s easy to set up and navigate through the app. It doesn’t make very loud noise like the ones that I had, even though personally I prefer loud operation since our room is facing the street. It does keep the air clean in our room and also have some nice features, like timer, schedules and auto mode etc. So far it’s working pretty good. Hopefully it will last long.

Outstanding!!!

We were the last to jump on the train of purifiers but after using this for over a week I don’t know how we went without it! We have a lab that we keep in our enclosed sunroom and this thing is the best for that room! (It’s also close to our kitchen and keeps the odors down from there as well). I couldn’t believe the difference of keeping down pet dander and not to mention smell of “outside” when we let Marlee back in… it really kicks into high gear and takes care of cleaning the air! We are hooked! I love this and highly recommend!

Fails within warranty period
Can confirm, this unit will fail within the warranty period under normal load and while following recommended maintenance. The issue that will occur is the screen will completely light up and then slowly dim to red while the controls remain unresponsive. Unplugging it and then plugging it back in again will delay complete failure for a short time, but it will eventually no longer work. There is also an audible click from an electronic component inside the unit while it fades. I have no attempted to troubleshoot this yet since my unit is within warranty, but i seems to be a fault on the circuit board. They are sending me a replacement against my wishes because if this is a manufacturing error, as further review reading will have me think, the replacement is going to fail as well. I will be tearing my broken unit down to investigate where the fault is as soon as they tell me they don't want it back for anything.

Do not buy! Breaks just after warranty!
This broke right after the warranty ended! So many people seem to experience this. Do not buy! I have 3 of these and 2 of them broke around the same time. I have another larger Levoit filter that I bought (cylinder shape) that is holding up just fine. Don't get this one!

Great Company and Air Purifier LV-PUR131S
I purchased the Smart HEPA air purifier LV-Pur131S in Jan 2021. It worked great, looked great, was quiet and gave us really fresh air in the bedroom. One day, though, it stopped working right. (Our daughter has the same unit and hers is still working). We obviously had a defective unit. It happens. I had activated the warranty at time of purchase which gave me 2 years. In Feb 2023, I called the company, explaining that I was slightly outside the 2 year warranty but my unit was not working. She said since it was under a month over, she thought they would still take care of me. She emailed me the info I needed to provide and in 10 days, sent a brand new unit! Very happy.

Sync problem
This unit only works on 2.4GHz not 5GHz so the app is telling me it is either out of network or powered off and because of this will not sync with my mobile and cannot get any updates.

Great customer service, but fair product quality
I have 2 of this models in my home. Each was broken little over a year, and the machine was hanged up and couldn’t be turned on. When I sent email to their customer service, they just asked me to send them the clip and picture how it didn’t work. They sent me the replacement and asked me to keep the broken one as spare part. Overall, the quality of the air purifier is ok, and it is so easy to setup on the app. Their customer service deserves the 5-stars.

WILL STOP WORKING EXACTLY AFTER 2 Years
will not recommend this product. Today, second time in 2 years, this unit stopped working. I gradually changed my filters as SMART Functions were informing me, I have three other products of Levoit and honestly working fine but for some reason, Humidifiers from LEVOIT usually will be stopped working after 2 years. I was changing it's filter and turned off the device, now It is not turning back on.. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I have all evidences.

Should have read these reviews before purchasing
I have loved this purifier since I purchased! It was nice being able to control the functions from my phone. Dealing with a global pandemic, it helped give me a piece of mind. However, just like other reviews I’ve read it just stopped working. Almost exactly 2 years from the date of purchase. I have contacted customer service and responded to the email they sent but I am waiting for a response. I do hope they will be able to me help me out considering this was not a cheap product. This was recommended to me by sister and hers has broken as well. Please help.

Great while it lasts
I liked the air purifier when it worked. I found that the blue, green, and red indicator lights worked appropriately and cleared the air when filled with smoke and removed cooking odors quickly in smaller spaces. I purchased this air purifier for almost $200 and it died shortly after owning it for 1 year. Levoit customer service responded via email to my concerns and stated that they would send out a replacement about a week ago; I haven’t received a replacement yet. For the cost of this unit, it should last longer. It would be nice if the company would recall this product and replace it with one with longevity.

Died after 2 years
Like many other reviews on here, mine died after 2 years despite changing it the filters regularly and minimal use. Very disappointing.

Died just after warranty expired.
This one is a disappointment. Just quit one day just after the warranty expired. Won't turn on, no lights, nothing. I've got some other Levoits that have been and still are troopers.
