Lightweight, stylish, but not for heavy duty cutting
I've used these for the last month off and on to get a good feel for them. The first thing you notice is that they are very, very, light in hand. For chopping/dicing/etc., you really want a knife with a good heft so that you can cut with precision. While these are aesthetically pleasing (the colors are very modern and nice) and the blades are decently sharp - I just really felt like the chef's nice was going to get away from me. The paring knife is a good size and does small cuts well (hulling strawberries, or trimming beans) I think as a starter set, or to have kids practice with, these will do nicely, but I wouldn't replace my heavy duty workhorse knives with these.

Good set. Steel seems above average for the price. Cute colors. Handles well, though a bit on the lighter side. If you’re used to heavier knives, be extra careful with these. They’re not as heavy as chef’s knives, takes some getting used to.

Very sharp and cuts food nicely
I was looking for a good quality knife set without breaking the bank, and this set delivered! The knives are surprisingly sharp and have made food prep so much easier and very effortless when cutting meat, vegetables. These are so beautiful and so modern!! I love the protective blade cover they come with. Just a beautiful set! Would recommend for sure!

Versatile
This is a perfect knife set for a minimalist. No chunky knife block. I love that these come with covers so that I can just toss them in a drawer out of sight. I love the colored handles as well. It’s easy to find which knife I need. The blades are sharp and handled various chopping duties like a champ. I always hand wash my blades so can’t speak to how it holds up in the dishwasher. It does say they are top rack safe however.

Great knives
Love the vivid colors, very nice quality do far. I like that they came with guards to protect us from grabbing them in the drawer. Hoping they don't tarnish over time, will be hand washin. Highly recommend them.

Good Knives!
I really liked these knives. The first thing I used them for was chopping an onion, and it worked well for the task, but I was most impressed with the way it cut through my pork roast. I never had a more EFFORTLESS experience cutting meat. Good knives!

Sharp
These knives are wonderful! The set comes with blade covers, 6-Inch Chef Knife, 5-Inch Santoku, 5.5-Inch Serrated Utility, 3.5-Inch Paring. With such a variety they are the only knives you need in your kitchen. They are not too heavy and make cutting, slicing and paring a breeze. The knives wash up well on the top shelve of the dishwasher. The colors are vibrant and not dull.

Loving this knife set!
I’m extremely happy with this kitchen aid knife set. They have a great grip on the handle, sharp and have precise cuts. Also, the colored handles give them a pop of color and let me know what knife I want to use.

This KitchenAid knife set is really nice. Each of the for knives cut really well. It's a great set that covers all of your needs. The handles allow for a good grip. The covers in the knives are a nice touch for safety.

Nice set of knives

Fantastic set of knives
I love this set of knives. They have easily become my go-to when cooking. They are extremely sharp, each have their own sheath, which I love as I have small girls in my house. They are recommended for hand wash but are able to go into the dishwasher which is a plus for me when using to prepare poultry or meat.

Nice set of knives
This is a great set of knives, especially for the price point. They are very sharp and sturdy, and the varying sizes make them the perfect choice for different needs. So far I have used them to trim chicken, chop vegetables and even carved pumpkins for Halloween making each task relatively easy! I have only hand washed them, but did notice water spots develop when I let them air dry, and while it hasn’t affected the blade aside from aesthetics, I’d recommend hand drying to avoid spots.

Great! Hand Wash Only.
These are good knives. Very sharp. I like the cases that come with them. They feel natural to hold and easy to use. The package did say hand wash. I put one in the dishwasher and a small bit came out with a rusted look. So make sure you hand wash.

A nice set of high quality knives
I have really enjoyed using this set of KitchenAid chef knives. The handles of the knives are not slippery. The knives are comfortable to hold and not too heavy. I have only washed the knives by hand so far. This would make a great set for a new apartment or house.

Appealing and efficient
Perfect knife set for every day slicing and chopping. The knives are lightweight, which makes handling them easy. The handles make for a good grip and the blades are efficient and sharp. We use the knives for chopping vegetables (seamlessly) as well as meats and breads. The blade sheaths are reassuring when storing the knives with little ones in the home.

I did not know that KitchenAid made Knives. These were awesome to use in the kitchen. Sharp and they cut with decent precision. I liked that they come with caps for the knife edge and a sleeve to store them away after use. I highly recommend this set. Great addition to the kitchen.

Excellent every day collection
A very nice variety of kitchen knives, all you would need for everyday use. I like the color scheme, it helps fo easy identification in a rack or drawer. They seem very well balanced on the larger knives. The small paring is a comfortable size and weight for many different food preps. Only concern is how well they will hold the very sharp blades and if they will stand up to a resharpenning? Overall, a very useful set of knives.
