I have thin hair and not a ton of it, and I've tried plenty of "volumizing" shampoos without seeing a noticeable difference, so I was curious to try this shampoo that claims to boost the volume of individual strands of hair. I can attest that it lives up to its claim of boosting volume after the very first wash. Even my mom commented on how much fuller my hair has been looking recently. If you are looking for a truly volumizing shampoo, I would give this one a try.

My thin, dull hair has a new life after using this ‘ filler’ thickening shampoo & conditioner. Not only does my hair feel super clean and fresh. But it’s soft, silky and extremely voluminous! I love the results and have definitely incorporated it into my regular routine. If you have thin/medium hair that needs some help with volume, I highly recommend this!

However, I did not see a difference in the volume of my hair or the appearance of "being fuller". That said, I have waist length curly hair that is fine. It is not heavy and my curl definition is not compromised by the length of my hair. However, maybe the length of my hair or even the texture played a part in not looking fuller? I have always loved my hair but wanted it a little thicker looking so it didn't look so sparse on the ends. And while this product may work for some, it just didn't not deliver for me personally. It is amazing at removing build up and left my hair clean and soft. It just didn't make it look fuller or thicker. I love John Freida products and will continue to seek them out.
