A jaw frozen in time
It’s a solid figure that is very sturdy and posable, good detail but for Hammond collection it’s a let down! I mean, why not make it have a posable jaw, that’s the key detail the kids and collectors love! Making the jaw removable is basically like a gimmick that is maybe a cheaper production choice than a functional jaw. I’d rather have the posable jaw, glass eyes and pay $10 more. This is a great figure with no hallmark signs of a Hammond collection while the huge triceratops from the other collection has a posable jaw. Disappointing while also very enjoyable to use as long as you dont mind pretending the Dino never used its jaw. 🙄

Pretty good
I wasn’t planning on buying it but target had a bunch of them. I honestly like it a lot, my only issue with it is how small it is, no glass eyes, and no articulated mouth. But besides that it’s a pretty solid figure.

Nice craftsmanship!
The details on the Sinoceratops are beautiful and it’s unique for its interchangeable parts. Shout out to Mattel for thinking outside the box more and hopefully maybe the Buck Rex will have a release to the masses, too. And wonderful job to the Target staff for packing everything securely.

first one I bought had a defective leg this new one is perfect and fine. The colors are perfect so is the sculpt. size of it is undersized but that's fine. wish the glass eyes were still around tho.

Just NO.
After all this time the Hammond Collection line is slowly going downhill. It made its peak in 2024 with the Giga and Carnotaurus but now it's made it's descent downhill. With removing the glass eyes which was one of the most important details that set this line apart from the mainline toys and adding swappable parts that make no sense and don't need to be there. I'm writing this review as a warning. So far I've purchased this four different times trying to find one with a good enough paint job and that does not have any defects but I have not found that one yet. However the joints are made they are not ideal as trying to twist them to the side before twisting them out will snap little pieces of plastic out. This has happened to me three different times so I know it's with all of them. With every paint job they have little mess-ups and paint splats here and there and it's just applied poorly. The one thing that I appreciate about this figure is the sculpt. Even though it's way too shrunken down in size compared to the Carnotaurus, it does have a nice design and highly resembles the Sinoceratops from the movie. The swappable parts are tricky to pop in and out especially the jaw and they just seem like a waste of plastic. The horn is okay but the mouth could have just been articulated. It just makes less possibility. I wish with all my heart that Mattel would improve this line. It's so hard to watch your favorite product slowly cheapening and degrade. It happens with all companies eventually but it's just hard to take. I hope this review has been helpful. Please. Mattel. Improve.

Wanted to give this figure more stars but i encountered so many unnecesary problems that lowered my expectations just to get this figure and it was not as impressice as I thought.
Buyer beware. This figure took forever to get. It was originally out of stock for preorder so I had to wait until the store release date. Unfortunately, even on that day, it was also out of stock online already and not available in store and had to wait another week or so for it to be available. To make matters worse, when I ordered it, it had come with two other figures I had bought since they were on sale and let me say that the packaging is terrible. I already placed a similar review on the other figures I had bought that came in the same box (which were also awesome figures as well) but I was worried that the items would be damaged because they didn’t come wrapped in any bubble wrap or paper of a sort. They were just placed loosely there. Hopefully the figures didn’t get damaged. I also hope Target really works on their shipping and packaging as this is unprofessional in my opinion. Overall, this Sinoceratops is good. Not the best Hammond Collection figure to come out but will make a good addition to my collection. I don’t think it was worth the wait. I’d give it more stars but after all that it gets only two. Shipping and packaging definitely needs more work though! Target, work on your stocking of items such as these and work on packaging!

:)
Good sculpt & detail: The figure does a solid job of capturing the look of a ceratopsian dinosaur: the head sculpt, frill, horns, and body texture are nicely done, giving it a “movie-style” dinosaur aesthetic. I think it looks imposing and dinosaur-like rather than cartoonish. • Display and collectible value: With swappable horns (intact and broken), a swappable lower jaw (open/closed mouth), realistic eyes, and a flexible tail — plus many points of articulation — it’s well suited for collectors who like to pose their figures or display them dynamically.

That's a very nice detail for the Sinoceratops based on the Jurassic World film. Now I'm thinking about buying another one

The joints on mine were a little tight but i fixed this issue quickly. I like the swappable jaw though I do miss the artiulated one. I also don't love the Sinoceratops design in the movie. That being said, this figure is still fun and awesome to pose. I like how derpy it is and how the tail is constructed. Also, the swappable horn is amazing too!

Taraget is getting as bad as Wal-Mart
Shipping for items is advertised as 2-day but 10-days is what you get. Nothing is available online or delayed constantly. Stores never stock items. I'm giving this a neutral just because Target as of late has become very disappointing. I have no doubt the actual product will be great. GI Joe Classified, Marvel Legends, most exclusives have pretty much been non-existent online or in stores. I hope come the 7th I can get one. My stores, per usual, have nothing yet.

Oh..my..gosh
Alright.. this is by far one of the best and cheapest Christmas gifts if you know Jurassic world fan or you are one yourself. The tail is bendable and there are swap out horns and mouths. Theres no glass eye though which I don’t even care about. If you’re a fan of Jurassic world and love herbivores.. slam your credit card against that card reader fast.

Worth the wait!
We initially had trouble finding this item, visiting two separate stores because the staff hadn't put the boxes on the shelf. It was frustrating to be told they couldn't locate them since we have been waiting months. The next day, my husband made a final attempt during his lunch break and thankfully 12 boxes were finally visible. The small struggle was worth the effort. Our 3-year-old is completely smitten and has been sleeping with the Sinoceratops ever since. It truly is a treasure!
